Since Detroit can't trade Diallo, Joseph, Frank Jackson, Saben Lee, McGruder, Olynyk, Lyles, until December 15th at earliest they can't trade for Bagley until then, as even with Josh Jackson they'd be ~2M short.

Cunningham, Grant, Hayes, Bey, Stewart, Livers and Garza would have to be included with JJ, and both in the SRP rookie's cases for salary purposes.

I don’t like Bags or his attitude, but I’d def trade some other guys I don’t like for him. CoJo, I definitely mean you.

Just wait until mid December, and if they'll bite in Diallo, and some 2nds, I would do that in a heartbeat. He is the exact type of big the team needs with Cade/Hayes.

2 overall, and his rookie season was good.

I view it has a low risk very high reward reclamation project. I would love it as long as its nothing more then salaray filler and maybe a 2nd.

We don't have the salaries to match it now, after december 15th we can send some garbage to Sacramento and get him for free I guess.

Pretty much the only trade we could do before Dec 15th would be Hayes + Jackson for Bagley + pick.

99% chance if we do make a move for Bagley it would be on or after Dec 15th.

I would trade anyone but Cade, Bey, Stewart or Grant for Bagley. I'd be less than thrilled to move Garza or Livers for him, but our top 4 guys should be off the table. This is the exact low risk gamble the Pistons should take with KO out.

i really hope not. he's a low-IQ tweener on an expiring contract. unless we are trading our garbage like CoJo and diallo then i really hope we don't make a move. and honestly i doubt sacramento makes any trade we'd offer because they already have way too many guards for their rotation.

I'd take a shot on Bagley. His attitude is bad but he plays for the dumpster fire that is the Kings franchise. I mean obv were also a dumpster but players like playing for Casey. Maybe he comes here and turns it around its for sure worth a shot. Clearly hes a talented dude and were a team that has is lacking talent.

I gave it a good college try, but I can’t muster up enough to develop an opinion on this beyond “as long as we don’t give up real value, sure, whatever”.

That’s all I got.

I think that’s all we need. If it’s not an overpay, it’s worth a shot I suppose. Diallo for Bagley after dec 15 is all I’d go for.

Why would they want Diallo? Isn't their guard rotation already loaded?

Didn't give it much thought. I was more thinking about what would not be too much value

I would do it if we don’t give too much for him.

Still can’t process Kings took Bagley III with #2, and that draft was loaded, Doncic, Trae, SGA, Miles Bridges, Michael Porter Jr.

Part of me thinks the player they would want for Bagley would be KO.

Diallo + CoJo would be great from our end but doubtful they would have any interest.

Perfect. Bye Kelly.
Most complained about us signing him anyways so this would get us out of that "bad" contract. And give our team a lottery ticket shot at an impact player with Bagley.

If Diallo can't be traded until December 19, three months after he signed, I expect Bagley will be gone before the Pistons have enough to offer, probably by December 16. The Kings also don't need point guards so I can't see us being able to unload Joseph on them. Even the Kings have a bit of common sense.
