Damn. This is a good stat. Guessing it is matching Ray?

It only takes 1 GM with something more valuable to the Bucks to offer.

Who do we think might target Donte?

We know the Kings liked him in the recent past at least. They are heavy on guards at the moment but that may change if they were to pull the trigger on Ben Simmons.

Looking at HoopsHype’s updated list of players who might be on the outs:

https://hoopshype.com/lists/nba-trade-candidates-2/

RoLo of course has experience in Milwaukee, and is trade eligible Dec. 15:

The signing of Robin Lopez was curious considering they already had two young centers in Wendell Carter Jr. and Mo Bamba to prioritize. Lopez has appeared in five of Orlando’s six first regular-season games averaging 12 minutes per game and has not played since. Mo Wagner has also passed him in the rotation and the Magic getting healthier won’t help Lopez either. His $5 million salary is both very tradeable and manageable as a dead cap hit in case Orlando decides to buy him out.

Nwora + Hood + Georgios (or Semi) for Brook’s twin would work cap wise.

Not sure if we need to sell that low on Nwora but figure the Magic need some kind of incentive. Swapping in Semi for Nwora and adding a 2nd would work too.

I would do Semi/Hood/Georgios for Robin. Not trading Nwora for him.

How about Donte and Nwora for Okoro?

The owners would never do that, nor should they. This would add another 10m in spending, since the roster spots need to be filled. Robin also isn't that good. Like he would definately help us now, but has no chance cracking the rotation in the POs assuming everyone is healthy. If we're giving Nwora up, I'd either want that, a player with upside or a valueable contract.

Would Okoro even be playable with his outside shot?

They need to unearth another G-league big like Wood.

It’s the “assuming everyone is healthy” part that is giving me pause.

Do we want to bank our championship hopes on Brook’s back?

RoLo very well might not be the guy, and it’s totally plausible giving up Nwora wouldn’t be worth it here (especially if LED would have to pony up more luxury tax to fill the empty roster spots), but if BroLo’s back is now problematic we could really use another credible center who can play that role when it counts.

Robin was fun because he was a twin, but he's old, and was ass two years ago. No thanks. Just go get Giles, Cousins, or Leonard off the scrap heap and call it a day. Also, get Jontay Porter on the Herd plz.

I wonder how the Bucks value Nwora.

He’s definitely shown flashes of potential and likely has some fans around the league.

But if we are about to extend Pat Connaughton at a rich number, will ownership have the stomach to pay what it takes to keep Nwora in addition?

If not it might behoove us to deal him for more of a win now piece. Jordan may or may not be ready to be a rotation player come playoff time, even if he is someone plenty of teams would like to invest in longer term.

Alternatively if the Bucks think he will be ready to contribute down the stretch this year we could ride it out and see whether LED can be persuaded to keep one of our very few young players on the upswing.

He's actually played much better last year than he did with us after getting in much better shape. However, I agree, no thanks. He was a distraction for Brook, and has no place in playoff basketball.

Don't waste resources on regular season only players, especially when a player like Luke Kornet is available for free. Kornets teams were better with him on the floor. He's a perfect fit for our system and coaching.

Based on his play I would assume.

Maybe he also has a bad injury history which almost certainly hurts his value

Remember when Merrill had 30 points in the preseason and some people were mad about the Grayson trade. Man, feels good knowing we got Grayson for Merrill and some 2nds.

Just wait for Rolo to hit the buyout market
Coach Drew: "Milwaukee has always been a team that I have been intrigued by. When we played them, they were a tough team for us to play. Although we did beat them all four times"

Return to Milwaukee Bucks
