In years past, a guy like Alize would've been our 6th man with plenty of discussions of whether he should be starting.
It's great to be the team that has a solid rook...

In past seasons we have watched guys like Quickley ball for a solid Knicks team while depending on Denzel Washington or the like for us.

Its refreshing to have such a good rook in Ayo.

I have a feeling we will see some wild small ball line-ups when White returns. There’s a chance he becomes the Bulls Vinnie the Microwave, Ben Gordon, typed instant offense guy. If he can fill that role, watch out.

Still think the likely outcome is he’s shopped/traded, but there’s a role he could take.

Curious to see how Donovan fits him into the lineup. Ayo deserves the minutes he's been getting and arguably is just as if not more valuable on the floor than Coby ever has been.

If you can light up Lonzo and Caruso in practice, you can light up anyone in the NBA.

Having that extra offensive option should help us whether the storm without Vuc.

Getting my hopes up that Coby is our next Ben Gordon. Going to just come in and light it up from 3.

Well- let’s be honest. I’m not looking forward to seeing 4 guards and a 6’6 C try to rebound, but if Coby can shoot that 3P, we might be able to speed the game up finally and sweat teams out.

We definitely have stretches where you need another scorer / shooter out there. Hopefully Coby can fill that void.

We have reason to believe he might be able to just do that. He is going to be off coming back from injury no doubt and he still has a ton to learn, but we saw what he could do. He has shown flashes that were better than Pats flashes imho. Limitations? Yeah he has them but I think the role he is supposed to play Is perfect for him honestly. Starting PG? He was destined to fail but now we have more talent and balance. I think Coby will end up being a really good player in the role we all know suits him well. The pieces are here he won’t be expected to do to much, like he was as a 20 year old second year player learning a new position. After he gets his wind and rhythm, he can be a great sixth man imho.

Ben was as clutch as anyone and I loved him, but he wanted too much money. If Coby wants a contract like that then yes he will be gone.

If Gordon had continued his level of play with the Bulls, he would have been worth his deal. We found out many years later that Gordon was mentally ill and I'll hazard a guess that he was a difficult guy to be around and that while the Bulls respected his talent, they didn't think he was a good locker room guy and having Derrick Rose meant they could go in a different direction pretty easily without impacting wins/losses.

I think a win or loss today effects Cobys return.

If we win, i think he might sit out Monday too to give him another day. If we lose, i think they get him in there some tomorrow to add something we are clearly missing.

I’m excited either way. Need his shooting.

Seeing Tyler Herro balling in Miami, can’t help but wonder if Coby would have a third year breakout season too. Those two have been similar in terms of production, with the ability to completely catch fire shooting the ball for stretches of game at a time.

It’s really too bad that Coby missed an entire offseason to the injury.
