Edwards almost dropped 50 two games ago. While it was one game, it's kinda hard to trade a guy at that age who's able to do that in any given game. Especially one who appears to buy in on defense to an extent.

You definitely don't trade him for Ben Simmons, a guy who decidedly cannot score 50 in any given game.

And I’d say thank you for your time here but we are moving on good luck. Simple

Towns is a big part of the Wolves problems.

Don’t get emotionally attached to players especially ones where the history on leaky bigs (one of the worst) don’t bring wins. Doesn’t even play like a C either more like a slow footed stretch 4. Yuck no thank you.

Also thoroughly disappointed in JJJ, Grizzlies need to trade him asap.

On the otherhand Bamba is doing very well after a rocky start

... I like my bigs to do big things.

He's flawed as hell, but he was just 22 in his first and only playoff series going against the 4th ranked defense in the league. Still managed to have good scoring output, he just struggled with efficiency.

You don't think we'd benefit from Russell's positional size, passing, and floor spacing?

He’s older than Simmons, people didn’t have any issue dumping on Simmons the year before when he was a rookie against the Celtics.

He’s a bad passer for a point guard. He may be tall but it’s not like he uses his height much. I wouldn’t want to start him in a backcourt with Maxey. I guess we could use him as a sixth man but that’s not really what I’m looking for out of this trade. Hes just not the kind of guy you want in a big role on a good team in my opinion.

DLO like Ben used to be a very flashy passer IIRC.

So did I :(

Was one of my favs. And he got taller too, I thought he’d be a defensive force.

Turns out he’s a weak rebounder, not a good defender anymore, loves to foul and is shot happy on 3balls and injury prone.

It happens open the gate and let him run free wherever it’s his choosing. Tis but a footnote!

TBF, Jackson's downfall hasn't been his skillset, but his injuries unfortunately.

Yeah, hasn't been able to find his rhythm.

Jonathan Isaac too, but even more severely.

But also Isaac is a super weirdo off the court...

I would trade Simmons for Russell and added compensation (draft pick or player). I feel like I'm on an island with that one, but I have always been a D'lo fan.

Isaac had a lot farther to go developmentally too.

I got conned by JJJ but Isaac is one of the few in 2017 that I was in the ballpark on.

Fans would switch sides very quick if Russell was on the Sixers. He would fit like a glove and put up big scoring performances.

DLO is Kork but with better passing and needs the ball in his hands more.

Simmons sucks, we are trying to get a player that is better than him, I have my doubts Russell is one of them, and there are many, many players that are better than playoff Simmons. I only see a chucker who plays zero defense, at least Bum Simmons can defend. But I could be wrong and maybe Wolves are the land of wasted talents.

Having guards that can put the ball in the hoop is always a recipe for success in the playoffs. It seems as though people forget what it takes to win in the playoffs every year. They get fooled by guys like Buddy Hield in the regular season. D'Lo was a major thorn in our side during that series from a few years ago. I'm in no way trying to sell anyone on here the idea of adding him, but we're getting a donut out of Ben Simmons right now. Nothing from him at all, and I think the longer he sits, the more he cries mental health, the lower his value goes. So at some point (considering all these circumstances), adding D'Angelo Russell might not be such a horrible move. The only thing I don't like about it is that he takes the ball out of Maxey's hands. Again, I am not saying I want Russell here, but it would be better than nothing. I personally for record...think we should go after Keldon Johnson from the Spurs, but that's just me.

D'lo would make a tonne of sense alongside Ben and Jo. He's honestly like a super poverty SGA. He can shoot, pass, and sorta run an offense.

Harris for D'lo run it.

Ok, I agree, but how are we supposed to get a player better than Ben Simmons when Ben Simmons is tanking his own value? You just are not going to get a player better than him for him straight up. It's not going to happen. Ok....So...In the NBA world, Ben is an all star right. A player better than him would be a superstar level player! We aren't getting that for him.
