I owe an apology to Joe Barry.

Yeah. The big difference to me is, in 2ndary, guys seem to understand their assignments and be in the right places—something we haven’t seen recently on D—and are then able to attack what they read (run or pass) with speed and confidence.

And up front the d-line is getting push.

Getting pressure rushing 4 can cover up a lot. Even the red zone d is starting to come around. If the offense clicks back into any semblance of last year we have a real shot

Oh for sure. But I don’t think it’s *just* the dline getting pressure. Guys are in position to make plays- whether its a corner, safety, or a mlb filling a gap in run game.

Everything is way more cohesive this year. Fewer errors, quicker read/react etc.

Amos was amazing roaming back there and making up ground and awesome hands.

Both safeties and the entire secondary showed up. And the dline got pressure, and we didn't get burned by Wilson's rushes for crazy yardage. There's speed or cambell to limit the qb rushing damage.

Really impressive performance by the D.

What's the status on Darius, does he have a chance to come back this season?

Best case scenario he misses Vikings and Rams and is back after the bye against the Bears. Four weeks from today

He's definitely hitting that rookie wall (It's basically his rookie year). I'm willing to give him time. Coming back from an ACL after only 1 game as a rookie and missing the entire season is tough. He and Rodgers definitely don't have the chemistry down yet on those off-scheduled plays.

I'm running out of reasons why they're not if we can get Jaire back. In our current state, I don't think I trust Douglas/King/Stokes to be anything more than an average CB group. But adding a true lockdown corner obviously changes that and Stokes can obviously improve every week

Pass rush is respectable as are the safeties. We have one of the best ILB's in Campbell. So yeah, get everyone healthy and I don't see any glaring flaws

Packers have the second lowest points against total in the NFC.

Saints are 178 and have played one LESS GAME.

Packers are 180 thru 10 games
That's an amazing 18pts a game!

In averages saints are 19.77 Per game.
