This draft is a 3 headed monster to me. Chet, Jabari Smith Jr (now my number 2) and Banchero.

6”8” and above it was only a matter of time on the upskill to go along with the high end talent. Smaller kids grew up watching Curry, tall kids grew up watching KD/Dirk/Giannis.

Demigods and demigod light in the future.

Keels comp is like Baron Davis

Two rough favorites are Watson and Collins.

Juzang is a player and Houstan (Allan Houstan vibes such a atheistically pleasing player) is underrated. Baldwin Jr is slightly overs to me. Duren is very good (Turner with more pop) and the most underrated prospect imo is Mayer. Mike Miller 2.0

He’s the late pick turned into a productive NBA player. Very polished for his size should be an auto 1st rounder to me. Media mock drafts smoking on that good hashish projected in the late second round (40+). Thats NBA stuff written all over him. Doesn’t he remind you of someone here? Big KORKGOD :).

Guards are meh this year, but the wings/pf depth? Yeeeeeeesh out of control great.

I have this draft ahead of 2021 based on 2.5 to 1 ratio of the highest quality.

Mobley

Chet/Smith Jr/Banch

Then there’s one other by the name of Adrian Griffin Jr which I can’t wait to see play. Great draft this one.

Also Ivey/Hardy/Tyty have a long long way to go. All their games are suspect at the next level. Their dimensionality isn’t big. Ivey gives me Schroeder vibes. No thanks in the top ten as of now.

2 points in 23 minutes for Chet Holmgren against Texas. This guy has a worse body than Poku. He's going to get broken in the half by guys like Embiid.

Yeah, he's really good. I'm wondering if he drops due to size.

6'10 handling the ball like a guard and effortlessly knocking down shots from deep? Whew another unicorn.

Also locking up guards on the perimeter and in space and flashing some rim protection

If he keeps this up he has to be in that top tier with Banchero

I think he's my #1.

Auburn is must watch this year.

Smith is probably the best prospect in the draft. K.D. Johnson is a stud late first two way beast. Allen Flannigan is a nice scoring F with size in the early 2nd round.

Yeah Smith looks like a taller Paul George crazy potential. It’s very much a 3 headed monster for the 1 spot.

I’m taking that trio over Cade/Green/Mobley no question.

Watch for Collins too. Scary upside

Guards are meh whatever but the Wing/PF depth is amazing

Watson hasn’t looked great hopefully he gets better.

I'm only watching highlights and it's way too early for me to narrow my scope of prospects for the draft, aside from teams that play the Cats (too busy right now), but this guy caught my eye. Obviously shooting unsustainable numbers, but I watched him take a Harden stepback on a kid and drain it in his eye. The form looks nice and he's getting to the line at will. Also has a pretty decent frame with explosiveness.

Gonzaga's Julian Strawther might be a sleeper to keep an eye on.

6'7" 205 and can sling it from three.

My favorite three freshman right now are:

Jabari Smith
Patrick Baldwin
Emoni Bates

I really like this freshman class so far.

ELITE

he looks good but idk feels like Duke has this type of man amongst boys type guy every year who theoretically does a lot of things as a big/wing but seems to lack that pop to take them to the next level. Tatum panned out (this year aside I guess) and while yeah they arent exactly the same players ..you have Barrett, Ingram, Parker, and Bagley..all to various levels of success and Barrett sucked out of the gate and is still progressing but slower than you'd want your top 3 pick. Ingram was buns for a few years too. Parker's knees betrayed him but even prior to that he was just ok IIRC. Bagley is on the Kings so who knows lol...but not looking great.

Hell I'll go even further...Kyrie is Duke's most successful pro and he is a head case lol.

Plus, doesn't he kinda give off tweener vibes?

He's 6'10" 250 pounds at 18 (which means he'll probably physically mature to 265 eventually).

Can he play the 5?
No, through the early going he's shown pitiful ability to protect the rim and block shots.

Can he play the 4?
I guess, but he doesn't seem to have natural shooting range from three (even though his free throw shooting is elite). Also, why would you ever want two players 6'10" 250++ pounds on the court together at the same time in the modern NBA?
