The hilarious thing is he's younger this year by like 2 years than a few of the guys on the roster were last year.

Right, it seems like a long time because he played so much early and so few higher profile guys play 4 years. But this is the equivalent of being a normal redshirt senior. Nothing out of the ordinary. Kind of like Aaron Craft at OSU, seemed like he'd been there forever but he only was a normal 4 year guy
Resident Lillard truther since 2015.

Looks like the first two games are on Big Ten Plus, which I’m not sure anyone uses.

WTF is Big Ten Plus? Streaming? I get 3 Big 10 channels and they all carry the same game. All 3 have Indiana then Illinois then Iowa
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Yup. It's generally their holding place for the non-revenue sports, but some basketball games get relegated too. Extremely dumb.

It's a way to sneak an extra $10 out of a handful of subscribers just like the NFL putting a bunch of random TNF games on Amazon or different networks.

I don't know how many games this team wins but I am intrigued so far.
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Even just following the box scores these first two games has been a breath of fresh air.

My god, UWM is poorly coached. Probably had close to 30 turnovers in a bad lost to EKU. Couldn't break the press. Such a waste of an instate recruit staying in state.

Although that recruit wouldn’t have come without that coach, but yes he’s not good

They need a point guard.

Obviously the rubber meets the road here these next few weeks.

I was glad in a way that they had a softer schedule this year given the obvious need to work in a lot of new players.

Their margin-of-victory (basically) covering one big spread and obliterating the other big spread suggests that things are looking at least "not bad" and that they are deserving of a tournament-ish KenPom rating, but that is taken with a grain of salt until we see if that holds up against real competition.

I know that Davis is going to be able to score, even if inefficiently sometimes, against even the good opponents. The real question will be if Crowl, Chucky, Bowman, Carlson are going to keep getting theirs consistently as they have early on. Crowl looks like another try at Reuvers but maybe a lot of the bad things about Reuvers are hopefully not in his game.

No Johnny Davis + all the fouls inside getting called on Crowl = a pathetic-looking game against a beatable team at home.

I’ve supported Gard a lot as a good coach but he needs to get out of the old school thing where he keeps key players out with 2 fouls (Vogt being key as one of the guys big enough to guard Watson) and brings them back in when the game is already over after halftime.
