It's hard to watch Barnes being relegated to a glorified garbageman right now.

I just posted something on the Barnes thread.
Many rookies don't get rushed into a high usage role for a full long 80 game season. No point having them make too many mistakes early on -- let them focus on the good. It's a long season -- I would be disappointed if we don't feature him heavily for his development in the second half of the season, but not necessarily too upset about it right now. Still would like him a tad more involved but OG/Siakam/FVV have some chemistry at least tonight.

I understand what you're saying, but we've already seen what he can do with a pretty high usage and it was damn impressive. If he looked overwhelmed then I would be very comfortable giving him a diminished role, but he was balling outta control.

I think his lack of a 3 ball really hurts him. Tonight we see Siakam, OG, FVV all playing off each other and using the 3 point threat to help each other out.

At times I see Barnes get looked off when a guy looks to pass out because they know he won't shoot.

I'm not sure there is an easy solution, Play Barnes a bit more with the bench unit? But forcing him the ball on the perimeter is not necessarily it either.

I hope the team and Nurse can find a happy medium that is more than it is now.

most of the offense right now is 3pt shooting which really isn't Barnes' strength
