Cuz he’s selfish and just bets on himself

Every end of shot should go through OG or Scottie

or lou williams!

You think Nurse playing fvv 40 mons gives a **** about rebuilding.

If our gamelan actually looked like we were rebuilding the sentiment would be different.

We need Malachi to develop Nick

I think Fred gives us his best shot when he’s being the passed the ball in those situations. not when he’s handling the ball and jacking up a contested shot. If it’s a contested shot in ISO, I rather give it to GTJ. being asked to take a dagger shot when being passed the ball, OG or Fred. When the move is to towards the basket, Siakam.

Birch came in and gave us a great boost...but then the Blazers started attacking him and blew by him on switches multiple times. Starting Birch in the 2nd half just gives the Blazers more opportunity to get to the rim or drive and kick. Idk what you're watching lol.

Missed calls from refs
- Scottie d’d up dame, dame falls down. Blown call
- Scottie clapping not the refs, tech called
- dame fouls Fred at the fast break, no whistle
- clear path not called correctly

Pascal is a step behind and a bit weak but forgivable since he is only a few in.

Scottie is also not great today in general. He seems off.

I don't enjoy a team that is theoretically defensive. Portland played last night like Detroit the previous and Toronto looks tired.

barnes 8 and 4 and i barely remember him getting the ball at all, kid just knows how to get his. his IQ alone will make him a consistent 20pt player in this league

Remember, this is not on Fred, this is on Nick.

Pretty sure the head coach has a say in end of quarter possessions.

Siakam & OG gonna lead the way in the second half & help secure the dub. Feeling a 30 piece from both.

EFF3KT wrote:Barnes is going to end up like Drose the way Nurse is playing him. Nurkic is being insanely aggressive in the post and putting a body on Barnes.
Then he also has Barnes guarding Lillard and CJ at the perimeter with a low defensive stance.
The kid is a physical freak but you can wear him out like this man.

Don't forget nurkic shoving him to the floor in the 1sr

Barnes gotta play bigger now that he's going against size

The defense is horrible in spurts and great in some spurts. Very reminiscent to last year. There’s no consistency. It’s maddening.

Actually, our defense was quite good for most of the first quarter

8 & 4? Damn. One of his more poor offensive games this season & he still put up 8 points on 43% shooting. Stud.

BTW last game everyone was on and on about defense, fvv, etc etc. Well he's back... Portland is still shooting 59%.

We're an average team with an average ceiling with the current pecking order. The sooner the fans and the organization realize this and start transitioning into more scottie Barnes development, the better...
mdenny wrote:In anycase....Masai is probably gonna make Fred the first active player/head coach in franchise history now that Nurse is out of the way. That's been the plan all along.
