We are just playing stupid selfish basketball since the first quarter.
not strong, only aggresive cuz the power ain't directed/ that's why, we are subjected to the will of the oppressive

Some of these offensive possessions are making my eyes bleed. Fred has 2 easy floaters in the lane, one he passes to open Scotty near the rim who decides to pass to Trent for three, then Fred passes to Pascal who is out of position.

Now Pascal tries to drive and puts up a prayer. Birch gets the rebound and obviously gets blocked.

The offensive execution this quarter has been piss poor. Frustrating because Portland isn't even that good. We should be beating them easily right now.

Man, the refs really pick and choose when they want to follow the rules. It's the most random **** ever.

Siakams the only guy getting into the paint the rest are alternating between taking terrible shots. This is ugly.

I just assume that fans of the other teams must be equally pissed off at the refs and think they are getting jobbed as well. And that they suck for both teams.

I could be totally wrong on that assumption, but it's easier for me to think so I don't drive myself nuts with these asshats!

That's what the league has been rewarding for the last decade or so, can't really blame him.

Depends on whether the call is for or against the Raps.

The intent is to stop chase down fouls when there is no one between the player and the basket. Really, the NBA should adopt the G-League rules on this type of foul, even if it's not a clear path this one would have been one free throw and the ball.

Interesting, what's the specific GLeague rule?

It's called a take foul rule, designed to stop fouls in transition:

https://gleague.nba.com/faq/

Transition Take Foul: A transition take foul occurs when a defender commits a take foul (a foul in which the defender does not make a play on the ball) against an offensive player who has the ball or has just released a pass; a foul is committed during a transition scoring opportunity; and a foul does not meet the criteria for a clear path foul. The fouled team may select any player in the game to shoot one free throw and retains the ball at the point of interruption.

That dump off he attempted to pascal was frustrating to watch. Pascal also assumed he was going for a floater and went to creasy the glass.

Barnes gotta play bigger now that he's going against size

This is one of several issues that stem from not having another center to do the "dirty work."

I think getting another big is just a bandaid fix, Barnes gotta be able to coexist with Siakam & OG and take on bigger Guys, the three of them gotta gang rebound and protect the rim. Or this core is going nowhere

Play the 3 of them with a center too, then see what happens. I keep begging for this to happen just to try it. It's being proven before our eyes, Pascal can't do it, Barnes can't do it. It requires too much effort to always outwork a bigger guy
There goes my hero. Watch him as he goes.

**** are stealing my money.

Had him over on assists pass 2 games, and was hoping for 3 in a row. Although tonight they have moved the over to 3.5 instead of 2.5.

If you don't mind me asking, how much do you gamble in a typical gameday? I've been doing 50 bucks a night for the past couple days and I am enjoying myself a bit more. I used to gamble around 200-300 bucks a day a few years ago back when I was addicted to gambling and it was frustrating and I quit for a couple years after I lost 800 bucks on a Jazz playoff game.

I remember when everyone would throw Norman under the bus for every defensive miscue. Meanwhile we still get torched the same way. Like it’s our system that’s the issue.
