Birch takes that extra second to dish out and those are costly. He processes everything as he lands then assesses.
With Barnes, the cogs are already turning and makes that pass immediately. Those small differences in basketball IQ is what separates a contested 3 from a wide open 3.
Nothing against Birch there, he just presented a great example to boost Barnes. :)

Barnes needs to learn how to euro. He doesn’t quite have giannis fluidity around paint he just kind of tries to power up.

On that one play you're right, he held onto it a bit too long, but overall I'd totally disagree about Birch. One of his pluses is that he makes those quick passes out of the short roll consistently.
