Our defense is great but extremely inconsistent.

One of Nurse's weaknesses is that he runs a very short rotation... which reflects his high standards for the guys in the rotation.

This is fine for building play-off habits and for instilling a great system but the best system coaches were excellent educators, too. Pop always did a good job at getting guys in the burrows of the depth chart to be serviceable contributors.

Their aren't many better coaches at getting the most out of the top 7 in the depth chart and making them elite, but that won't do for a team like ours.

I don't think we'll ever win above 62 regular season games with a coach like Nurse, no matter how good our roster is.

I'm not worried about Pascal looking slow out there defensively as he works himself back but I am worried about him being completely lost with where he needs to be on the floor.
