He was awful down the stretch.

Can we skip to the part where we don’t romanticize our players and can just be honest about them? And then can we just not ever get to the part where we bash them for no reason?

That where toxicity starts. He's still a rookie and still learning.

Yeah, he made mistakes down the stretch, but made great plays that brought us back. Can't be mad at him, just a wee bit disappointed.

Ya I don’t think you can blame Barnes if the Raptors are just giving it to him to try to execute. That is more on the play calling and trying to exploit a weakness, with Barnes, that they see.

Fun game. One of those losses that I won't sleep over. It's too bad though because we started so strong and Portland's another beatable team that we wasted a W we should've gotten.

Yeah a C would’ve stopped them from hitting 16 3’s.

Yes it would help by letting our perimeter guys play closer outside on 3 shooters. Defense is a 5 man, interconnected thing

also considering just how much CJ and Dame used Nance Jr as an outlet valve from our hard doubles above the 3pt line - yes a real centre that can step up and stop Nance from playing with confidence on the move like he is Draymond from the free throw line would help...

There’s a always a chance against Portland if you can execute your offense.

Agreed, let's be honest, Scottie was terrible in the last 5 minutes of the game. He had about four crucial momentum killer moments. But I love the fact he's experiencing this down the stretch in close games. He was more aggressive in the 2nd half and was having an excellent game until the last 5 minutes of the game.

our team would rather give Barnes the ball then - but not when he is wide open on a slip screen, or when he has lillard on him in the post with a clear out

Trent and FVV were calming him down after his blunders.

Vets are here for Scottie

Was gonna say the same thing. Zero reason our 7-7 team should be playing the starting five 39-40 minutes each to start a 6 game road trip

FVV, GTJ, and Siakam need to recognize that if they are along the perimeter. All I saw from OG most of the second half was literally stand in the corner.

Every night our bench gets destroyed. No wonder starters, tired are making mistakes. I just don’t understand Nick for not playing Dragic minimum 10 minutes?!?!

No one should blame FVV here. The rookie and our max player cost us the game.

None of the starters cost is the game. The freaking bench provided absolutely nothing. Dalano/Svi are G-level players and Birch is hit or miss.
