I know they are trying to build chemistry/make good moves but would love to see SGA attacking the paint more (like last season).

Same for Giddey tbh even if he's struggling with his shot.

Shai's gotta process the game better than he did tonight. The %s obviously weren't there but really it's an issue of him to choosing to fight double teams instead of anticipating the easy pass to keep the offense humming. Really held it a lot tonight and we got all our best stuff when guys were moving it.

Giddey has strung together a few "bad" games now. He's looking less confident in his dribble and is taking less and less straight line angles to the cup. Been getting into post position/spinning and it results in him killing his dribble a lot or getting trapped in a double team. Think he needs some confidence or just a game where he hits his 3s. 0-5 tonight. Yeesh. Also he had 9 assists tonight but I wouldn't classify this one as one of his more impressive passing games. He even sent a cross court pass sailing into the 3rd row like he was Westbrook. Seemed like JRE/Dort/Poku all just hit their shots.

Poku's 3rd quarter explosion was the most entertaining portion of this game. Composure was also there tonight in addition to the fact that he had a couple dunks and hit a couple shots.

Dort has quietly (shh be quiet) strung together four 20 point outings in a row

That may have been the best stretch of ball I have seen Poku play so far. He was composed, making the right plays and hitting his shots. He has been getting spot minutes but lately seems to be playing well even if his box score isnt eye popping.

Josh needs to become a much better shooter, and I think he has the shot mechanics and more than anything the work ethic to dramatically improve as his career goes on. But right now its rough when he is bombing 3's.

Giddey is being schemed right now which is why he is struggling to score, also his confidence is down which isn’t helping.

He is a smart player and will eventually adjust. He had a similar challenge adapting to the NBL but grew as the season progressed.

But Robinson-Earl becomes better and better. Very good 2'round pick Mr Presti.
