Actually it doesn't. Lebum is on a steep decline fantasy wise and last year's trend is continuing. He can't stay healthy.
Even a healthy Lebron might not be higher ranked than Wood at the end of the season.
You better hope we suck ass and are fighting to make the playoffs again. If we're decent and are a lock, you better damn expect a lot of healthy DNP's.
I reaally don't get what you are doing. I mean there are a few guys who for sure you can say looking at their moves they are rebuilding. I can respect that.
But trading Wood for Lebron is easily a win now type of trade. Yet you filled out the rest of your roster with all the bums in the universe.
You drafted a guy who will never sniff value in this league on the Jazz(Jared Butler). You until recently had another Jazz guy who was never going to play in Azubuike.
You roster the trash of this world in Roby who can't even crack the rotation on a tanking Thunder team. I mean literally, he has two corpses in Favors and Muscala who he can't beat and a **** second round rookie in Robinson Earl is eating his lunch money as well.
Quickley a **** scrub.
Dort a **** scrub.
Bazley a **** scrub.
Clarkson a **** scrub.
Jordan a **** scrub.
Don't get me started on Roby.
Huerter is good but he will never get the minutes and role he deserves in Atl.
Bogdanovic the same.
Bryant is buried. He won't see a lick of value with Gafford and Harrell.
Oubre the same.
Warren the same.
I don't know how you did it, but you managed to fill up you roster with either trash or players who are on deep as ass rosters and who won't produce meaningful numbers until they're traded or the guys in front of them in the rotation literally die.
You want to wait it out to see if that happens? Ok, I'm cool with that. But why **** trade for Lebron then?
Until the likes of Quickley see a role in this league he's gonna be retired.
Perfect timing. I was scrambling for FAs and was looking at how depressing my roster is right now. Yes you are correct, the LeBron trade was a win-now move as I have been getting impatient with the annual Top 4 finishes and pairing him with Jokic just made sense as they complement their strong cats. And to address your player insights:
Quickley a **** scrub.
- You know Rose's and Walker's injury histories. Happy they're both healthy in real life but yeah, PT is hard to find right now. Silver lining is the Knicks perform well and both get DNPs right around fantasy playoffs.
Dort a **** scrub.
- Man, I really thought SGA getting back and having Giddey would push Dort to focus on 3&D but guy thinks he's a superstar.
Bazley a **** scrub.
- This one stings. Last year I gave him a pass for not being consistent but damn now in his 3rd year and it's the same shiz. Similar with Dort, I hopes he focuses on doing off the ball stuff, should help with %s , REBS, and STOCKS.
Clarkson a **** scrub.
- He was for a couple of games. Not gonna comment anymore, don't want to jinx it.
Jordan a **** scrub.
- Lol stop gap. Chill.
Don't get me started on Roby.
- This I'm really pissed. Kid getting DNPs how is that even possible?! Robinson-Earl plays like a legit energy big, Favors the traditional big, and Muscala the stretch type. Guess being a unicorn F upped his game since coach can't tell what he'll be getting from Roby on a nightly basis. With the other 3 he's sure.
Huerter is good but he will never get the minutes and role he deserves in Atl.
Bogdanovic the same.
- Agree. ATL too loaded, not looking good with Reddish getting a feel for the game now. If Wright gets minutes I'd be worried. Hunter's resurgence as well, could affect Collins. Here's to hoping Hawks rests their main wings right around fantasy PO.
Bryant is buried. He won't see a lick of value with Gafford and Harrell.
- Guy's injured still. Let's wait.
Oubre the same.
- Has the sixth man role and couldn't get **** done. ANYWHERE. I don't know this is mind boggling for me. Hope he figures it out.
Warren the same
- Also injured. He should replace Duarte in the starting line up. Would prefer him off the bench though so he can be the focal point in offense. Don't want him sharing touches with Turner as well.
The Jazz guys were future moves. Maybe too distant, but knowing Utah could be a top team again, they'll get their chances right about PO time.
I have a lot of "for fantasy playoffs" moves but with how my team is performing now? Wishful thinking. So yeah basically a win now sprinkled with preparing for the future, mostly with the Quickley's and the Butler's. Let's not overlook that some of my players were about top 150 just a year/couple of years ago. I'll only acknowledge my screw up in hoarding supposed Thunder key guys though
