The NBA is just an extremely greedy business -- greedy owners, greedy execs, and greedy players -- and frankly I no longer even encourage young people to watch it. These teams including the Celtics would put anything on the jerseys to make a buck. At a certain point, fans should unite and say enough of these trash names if you want to name your businesses after American cities. Los Angeles, Boston and all of the other NBA cities shouldn't be forced to put up with this crap. If the league want to move all of the teams to Canada/Mexico/Europe, let them all leave.

Yeah the sponsor logos on the court has been absolutely horrendous at times. It’s so terrible.

I hope they're paying the Lakers 700 mill in squid coin tokens.

I like the change. The building has a cooler name now if it's going to be called The Crypt or the Crypto.

I can already hear rappers of tomorrow.

Promising a chip like LeBron up in the Crypt /
Or Giannis in the Crypto if he brings in DiVincenzo /

Endless possibilities.

No Crypt, No Chip.

The Crypt walk.

Headline after bad home loss: Crypto Crash

It's definitely more catchy than Staples.

The arena of one of the most historic franchises in NBA being named after a Ponzi Scheme.Nice.BTW why do "currencies" need advertising?I've never seen a dollar.com arena or euro.com arena.

This will sound weird with the concerts too, we're so used to Staples for so long.
Where the offseason has more buzz happens.

This isn't a "currency" needing advertising. This is a website selling said currencies paying for advertisement. See the difference?

This is becoming a theme, the Triple A in Miami is now FTX Arena, which is also crypto related.

Yea people acting like the arena was named after the late John 'lemon syrup' Staples who was the first Laker to score a 57 point triple double in a finals game or something.
So many people who attain the heights of power in this culture—celebrities, for instance—have to make a show of false humility and modesty, as if they got as far as they did by accident and not by ego or ambition.

One could even argue that the USD is scam given all FED did in recent years is: print dollars.

Your post suggests you haven't really understood crypto like at all.
Crypto.com, like Coinbase and others is operating similar to the likes of Visa, Mastercard, Paypal, Square, etc. just for crypto currencies (Visa, Mastercard, Paypal and Square are all implementing cryptos as well btw or already have done so)
Never seen advertisements for those companies either?

Like with all currencies obviously there is scam and ponzi schemes around in crypto currencies as well.
Crypto.com just acts as the one who is selling you the currencies. They don't mind whether you buy legit crypto currencies or ponzi schemes because it is really your own decision. Just like your broker won't ask you whether you buy Microsoft/Apple or GME/AMC stock.
That is why it is up to you do your research/due diligience which crypto projects are legit and which are not.
And if you do your research and don't put everything in one basket - you will make great return because cryptos are too big to be forbidden at this point.

US dollar is a sh*tcoin. It is guaranteed to go down in value.
