Re: Around the NBA 11
It is really stupid that our schedule for the first part of the year is clearly absurd...before the games tonight we're the only team to have played 13 games, a handful of teams have only played 10! Not to mention that 9 of the 13 games have been on the road and we have a ton of more away games in our immediate future...
Dumb...

It's almost like the league doesn't care that much for the small market teams......

CLE scores 9 Q1 points and still manages to beat BOS. How legit is CLE?
Playoffs are a **** show in the east

Every team besides Detroit and Orlando have a shot. This is the first time in at least a decade the East is better than the West.

Doumbouya available since the Lakers waived him from his two way contract.
Man, if Charlotte did not have so many trouble with french prospects/players, i would say they should pick him. His talent is unbelievable (probabbly the nba french prospect with the best fundamentals with Diaw), unfortunately so are his lack of maturity and toxic envionnement.

Very legit. When you have a Rubio who has figured out how to put together his offense coming off the bench, you’re automatically dangerous.

Cleveland continues to steal players for cheap. I wanted Rubio really bad, thought he was very undervalued. Then they got Allen for basically nothing. I think if healthy they are a clear top 8 playoff team.
I don't support domestic violence. Thanks Miles

Re: Around the NBA 11
Allen really was the coup for them. Essentially a 2nd round draft pick for Tauren Prince and (Allen) a non-stiff big who plays both ends of the floor and has steadily improved each of his 5 years in the league.
Even if he didn't work out, that's worth the risk.
They did give him a 5/100 contract so..... value went down, but that's fair for what you get out of a big these days.
Their problem is going to be long term. Mobley is probably going to be better, and if he can stay healthy, will probably be a star. He's going to continue to eat minutes. Lauri or Allen is going to quickly become a very expensive bench piece.
I know people don't want to trade Gordo, but I can't help but wonder if a Gordo for Allen/Osman trade framework wouldn't be better balance for both teams

If I’m Cleveland I’m sticking with Allen and Mobley for as long as it’s working. Use Mobley like Duncan, I think it gives them an advantage

Malik Monk is really bad. LeBron wants to kill him already.

Devonte didn't even play and NOP beat LAC by 13, held them to 81 total points and 26 second half points.
Guess that's why they play the games.

I gotta admit I’m relieved, I was happy to let him go while also being scared that he might blow up.
He’s got the tools, it’s between the ears he needs to develop

Yep, Monk had the chance to be a good player in this league but that dude is just not trustable to make good decisions, on or off the court.

Good read. I miss him.

Maybe if measured by fan appreciation but definitely not in salary.

Lebron should get a multiple game suspension for that cheap shot against Stewart. Dude gets away with stuff all the time though....

I agree. I read that the most recent comparable incident, in 2015, led to a two-game suspension. I would guess that Stewart is going to miss ten games, though.

LeBron is suspended for one game only, Stewart for two. That means, unfortunately, that both could be on the court when the Lakers and Pistons play again next Sunday.
