Great news. They could hold him out through the bye, so he misses @Vikings and Rams, then back for the last 5 games: Bears, @Ravens, Browns, Vikings, @Lions.

Bye is perfectly timed this year
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

The offense should be fully healthy (sans Tonyan) coming off the bye. Defense still has a ton of question marks.

Wonder why they have to wait until Tuesday. Perhaps because of swelling.

Good news on injuries though, I initially thought Gary and Jones were done for the season.

Yeah, I went from this is a devasting blow to we might be better off in a month. Really forced us to stretch what Dillon could do and he stepped up. Gives up more options come playoff time.

Galeai was activated today. Wonder if he added 10 lbs to that 6'5" frame.

Wonder what the cap penalty would be for cutting Bakhtiari? Seems like best bet is to move on at this point.

Yep, if it doesn't happen now it will happen soon. Awful contract.

His cap hit next season is $22.7 million, cutting him is a cap hit of $39.3 million. Not happening. After 2022 it reverses. Cap hit of $26.2 million if kept, $17.5 million if cut.

Oh lord, what a terrible contract. Imagine what the Packers could have done with over $20 mil.

Bahktiari has been one of the best LT's in the game. It isn't his fault he got hurt. The Packers probably go to the Super Bowl last year if he didn't get hurt since they got killed off the edge against TB.

Any talk of cutting him is fantasyland. You want to get him back for the playoffs this year.

Yep, so we give him one more year to prove he can live up to the deal or he is cut.

Are these comments for real about cutting Bak?
