Healthy Starting lineup should be:

AD
Ariza
Lebron
THT
Nunn

With Lebron and THT trading PG duties and Westbrook being a super 6th man surrounded by shooters. They would never do this though sadly.

Impressive. I'd say he's in elite company, but he's neither a good enough scorer nor playmaker to justify racking up that many turnovers, at literally the fastest pace in NBA history. Very hard to like as a player.

Demar is elite @ both getting to the FT line and shooting from the midrange which becomes very important in the playoffs. What is Westbrook elite at other then historic TO numbers ?

Lol Demar probably wouldn't play to the same level if he came here tho. You legit get stat boosts when given primacy. He'd never have had that in LA

Tonight is going to address the puzzling question "who did they expect to crossmatch the likes of Giannis when this roster was put together?". Absolutely baffling from the same team that add the foresight to carry bigman defenders to combat the likes of Jokic. I mean they do realise Ariza couldn't guard Giannis last year. Heat had to scrap that idea in the first half of the first game. Had to use Butler more frequently on him, a move that couldn't have helped his chances of having a good offensive series. Unlike the Heat I'd think the Lakers would have the benefit of learning from that grave hindsight error.

Brons probably the best defender in the league on him tbh because he's stronger and comparably quick laterally. They'd probably toy around with matchups and sic LeBron on him in crunch time.

Giannis starts 4/4 off of mostly dunks. Also carmelo isn't sniffing major minutes in the playoffs. He has been a fairly huge liability against good teams.

Giannis sees AD as food on defense, man. This is rough

Lakers aren't even playing that bad on offense 44/40/75 but Giannis is now 12/13 and the Bucks are getting whatever they want. Behind the blowouts is the trend that Lakers roster loses every single matchup. There's no half decent matchup they don't collapse to.

That man is out there punking AD.

Making faces like… “who is this bum on me”.

Embarrassing.

He is supposed to be AD’s biggest rival in the league. This should be AD’s top “mark the calendar” matchup of the season. To get completely demolished like this is embarrassing.

AD has zero heart or pride. He should never be mentioned in the same breath as Giannis.
Don't believe the hype...

THT is a stud, man. He needs to be a permanent starter especially if the shooting holds.

I think he can eventually peak as a Jimmy Butler-esque player, honestly. And in some respects their statistical heuristics/profile at the same point in their careers look pretty similar

What the actual f happened with THT. This has to be a hot streak, it's too good to be true. What the actual f, it hasn't even been a couple months since the phx series. Was he in the gym all summer?
