Suggs got the handles of a power forward in the mid 2000’s. My god

His handle is super concerning right now. The shot isn't falling (AT ALL) but the handle is stressing me out.

Yeah, I don’t think he’ll ever be a fluid ball handler. You either got it or you don’t when you’re at this level. Dude is an absolute stud on defence and is super intelligent and coachable so I’m sure he’ll eventually find ways to score effectively despite his limitations as a ball handler.

Franz is absolute stud though. That man can play meaningful playoff minutes in his rookie year.

I came into the draft thinking Franz, Scottie and Davion Mitchell would be terrible top 10 picks but boy was I wrong lol.

Yeah, pre-draft, I didn't think Suggs was likely going to be a star anyway. Obviously, as a magic fan, I had high hopes but it doesn't look good right now for the idea that he's going to be a star. That said, he will be useful once that jumper starts falling. He is a stud on defense as you mentioned. Suggs/Franz/JI will be a terrific defensive combo moving forward. The magic need to find their star on offense though.

Personally I was a fan of him doing ring around the Rosie under the rim on that one possession. Elite dribbling in circles
LeBron's NBA Cup MVP is more valuable than either of KD's Finals MVPs. This is the word of the Lord

I doubt it. A star? Maybe not but certainly not a bust. He's too good on defense and his jumper looks fine. The shots just aren't falling.

Pistons are now 4-5 with Cade. 0-5 without him.

Some of that is the tough schedule to start the year, but Cade's ability to be the guy who can make plays in clutch situations is the thing the Pistons desperately lacked last year.

Now if only the team could make an open shot or two, they might be semi-OK.

13pts (3/4 from 3), 4ast, 3 stls, 1 blk, 2 TOs in 25 minutes for a rookie... I just don't understand bust but okay

Cade's just got a tailor made game for the current age of the NBA.

The shots will start to fall sooner rather than later, and with better teammates in due time, he will be on his way to a HOF career, barring injury.

Franz Wagner is really impressive, can switch onto 1-5 in a pinch, guards ball handlers well and apparently likes dunking on the Knicks. The Magic got a really really good one with him.

He's got shooting guard speed with a bunch of length.

Yeah Suggs will eventually be a Billups type of floor general in my opinion down the road
