According to Blazers Edge, Dame and Norm are both questionable. Not looking good for the home team!

CHI is playing very well right now. They absolutely humiliated the Lakers last night. DeRozan was a great pick up and is playing at near MVP level and even DJJ looks like a real basketball player for them (not just a human highlight reel - he has a TS% of .744 with an Ortg of 145 and DRtg of 101).

Probably because they aren't making DJ stand in a corner. I miss DJ. I really enjoyed his time with us. He seems so chill and nice too. I think they're out Vucevic tonight because of covid protocols, but might be wrong.

Chicago had my favorite off season this year, not surprised at all with their record. People wrote DeMar off way to quickly because of his time in SA.

I wish the Blazers would just throw the towel in on this season. Dame is not right. I think he's having some hangover from playing all summer with Team USA... too much basketball with not enough rest. I know he wouldn't do it, but I wish he would just sit for like 2 months (or the whole season for all I care) and rehab.

This come back has been exciting but the blazers dancers just performed to "bust a bucket"...

Hell of a nice come back win for the Blazers, Nance and Nurk were both damn good in this game. Last season it felt like any game where CJ and Dame struggled was a big loss especially against a good team.

Was a real pain listening to the Bulls announcers on this one though, they had some really annoying catch phrases and offered little to no insight on the game. I would probably rank them as one of the worst announcer crews in the NBA.

I am liking that we are using Nance more as the primary backup C. Cody has a role when we go against more traditional bigs, but to me he is more of a high end 3rd stringer.

I wonder if there are any small moves we can make to shore up a rotation worthy forward with Nance moving more towards eating up the backup C minutes. A guy like Kenrich Williams would be huge, or even House.

I agree. Not sure if Snell is the answer as the second unit power forward. I get that available wing minutes are limited because of how well Nas has come along, but is this the best we got?
Nance can cover most 2nd unit bigs, but on switches Snell gets exposed.

As an aside. I just looked up their combine measurements, Snell and Zeller have practically the same standing reach ( 8'9.5" / 8'10").
Which is very nice for a wing, but on the very low end for a 7 foot center. Partially explains Cody only having 2 blocks in 213 minutes thus far.

I was a huge proponent of giving Little 25+ minutes a game early on, he plays with such passion and energy in the game.

Even when he makes mistakes he doesn't let it get to him, I watched him turn the ball over on a bad pass and he busts his ass getting down court trying to block the shot.
