No dropping F-bombs and I remember Minnesota complaining about all the water on the court last season. They treat every win like a championship.

We all were after summer league and preseason. Not even the most optimistic Wagner family member could predict this blossoming beginning in the league. He has been outstanding. Sometimes he looks like a 7 year veteran on the court

Certainly not. I have to imagine it has to be an awesome experience for Moritz to see his little brother in person make posters like that in MSG. Not many families can say they've had that opportunity.

I like it - let's overcelebrate the meaningless wins. Feels much better than Evan Fournier talking trash on his teammates with wins that were futile and also hurt our draft chances.

Not meaningless at all IF they play well on both ends and show growth. Young guys playing crappy is not tanking- it's just sucking.

I LOVE Franz' aggressive drives because it'll just open up shots for others on the perimeter...he's so long that there are very few guys that will survive in single coverage when he attacks. If our bigs, including Isaac, can hit 35%+ on the resulting open 3's, we've got something here. If Isaac comes back where he left off, that's a truly competitive front court. The new defensive rules will make "reachy" guys like Isaac even more effective.

I figured Franz was a pretty safe pick at 8 and he's already deserving of that slot...if he's got another gear (developing), I'm not even sure what he could become. 2 way guy, great measurables, great BBIQ, unselfish, plays hard...sky's the limit.

I haven't been too concerned about Suggs. It's just taken him some time to get adjusted to the NBA game but he's too good a player to not put in the work and make the adjustments.

Agree...of course, it would have been fun to see him tear up the league but...ballhandling is often the first rude awakening rookie Guards get in the NBA...I remember Wall just toying with Elfrid in his first game - picking his pocket at will in the first few possessions just to send a welcome to the league message. It's fortunate that he's got solid defensive instincts and physical gifts to keep him contributing while the other stuff comes around.

The Suggs steal at the end of the game was "elite" defensive court awareness.

Can't teach that. Game on the line, good defenders are running back to get in position. Great defenders are sizing up the court to figure out how to impact the game.

A player either has "it" or does not.

When our two rookies and sophomore are dominant to lead to that win, then Yes I will celebrate the true meaning of "player development".

There is no more important "skill" for young players to learn than "what it takes to win".

Suggs quadruple-shot espresso speed-interview reminds me of Darrell Armstrong. Does Suggs have a low gear at all???
