Really thought we could finally stop talking about Christian Wood after winning a damn ring, but here we are.

Well at least we aren't talking about Tobias Harris.

Nice win by the Sixers in Denver
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

It honestly feels like a fever dream that he was ever on the Bucks.

Re: ATL - 2021-22 Regular Season Begins
Sometimes I think the "empty stats" argument is just an unfair way to penalize good players on bad teams, but we're in like, Year 4 of Christian Wood putting up big counting stats on atrocious basketball teams. It stops being a coincidence at some point. He just doesn't impact winning in a positive way. But I'm sure Houston actually kinda likes that he's a perfect tank commander. If they're smart then they'd flip him to the Kings for Bagley and a 1st.

*furiously checking notes*
If not for Tobias Harris, then Scott Skiles doesn't dehydrate him to the point he's traded for JJ Redick who comes to Milwaukee and dogs it, causing the BJ/Monta duo to just barely "carry" the Bucks to the 8 seed and the 15th overall pick, where the Bucks grab Giannis.
In sum, the Bucks don't win a championship without Scott Skiles. Send him a ring.

Is there anything more entertaining in basketball than Steph getting on a roll?
OK, other than the Bucks winning a title.
Steph is "MUST SEE" right now.

Apparently the refs don't feel the need to "MUST SEE" the four steps he took without dribbling while baby-stepping back into his ninth made three.
He's entertaining, but if Dr. Naismith ever saw what he was doing to the rules of his game, he wouldn't like it.

Sid, what do you think of the new-fangled laceless basketball? Almost looks perverse without the twine, no?

Also I don't think its a coincidence that teams seem pretty content letting him leave. The fact Detroit was starting a rebuild and basically let him leave for nothing was a major red flag.Ron Swanson wrote:Sometimes I think the "empty stats" argument is just an unfair way to penalize good players on bad teams, but we're in like, Year 4 of Christian Wood putting up big counting stats on atrocious basketball teams. To be fair to Christian Wood, it's not his fault his starting guards are both shooting below 37% from the field. Jalen Green is a bad mess defensively, too, makes it tough on everybody over there. Huge potential but a disaster at the moment.

Not a fan. And why not stick to peach baskets? It's not a big deal to get a ladder.
Ah, the march of progress. Or in some cases, the dance of progress.

Crappy for sexton. Isn’t this a contract year for him too?

Who??
Everybody’s on something in the nba from the top of the top guys all the way to the bottom fringe guys. Might as well pour money into research to make these things more safe and healthy instead of acting like it’s not going on.

How lenient is the NBA drug policy? Over here that's a 2+ year suspension.

What are you suggesting? Do you believe every player in the NBA is taking unsafe and unhealthy performance enhancing drugs and the NBA is sweeping it under the rug?

Hate Boston but Lakers getting blasted by them with LBJ back and playing 32 minutes is glorious.
