2 in a row is something my pessimistic heart didn't think possible... so happy to be eating my words.

Nick K wrote:41 points from the bench. I've said before it's a team game. Kat can't do it all. We're essentially going 8 deep the last 2 games.

Kat was sensational with 25-12-5.

Vando 6-12-2. McD 13-6 off the bench in 31 minutes. Bringing McD off the bench seems to be the right move.

KAT has been phenomenal all year. It is everyone else who needs to consistently step up and come to the party.

First 2-0 win streak since the beginning of the season.

Need to make 3-0 on Saturday night rematch vs the Grizz

Yeah getting that next one against the Grizz would be massive.

12 and 12 would be massive. Is it likely, no. But that would be the benchmark that restores my hope. Get back to .500 with 7/10th of the season to go and hopefully by then make a trade for some GD size. Without Naz we have V8 and MCD playing backup C. What if KAT gets the flu and has to miss a game while Naz has a toe issue? Nathan Knight starting at the 5 didn’t work for the summer wolves much less the Timberwolves.

So important we are changing that losing mindset from last week.

Finch: "It’s been a long time coming for us to play this way. Now we got to play way more like this."

KAT: "I think it was not even us versus the Spurs, it was us versus us and see if we can back up the talk. I thought we did a great job coming out the gates ready to play."

6-9

2 winnable games next. Memphis and Pelicans.

Need to get back to .500 and then we ready to compete again.

Small steps to big steps.

This guy needs a kick in the balls for this BS. I know we won and the spurs are inferior to us talent wise..but this guy sucks.

I mean I think we’re at the point that if he shoots 40% it’s considered a success. He’s in the 30s with 15+ shots routinely. Lots of possessions wasted

Coach need to grow a pair and make him a sixth man.

At worst, yank him very early q1 and q3, then he comes back in with reserves. He plays q4 when games are close (he is clutch).

Yep.

And with ball movement.

Just what the doctor ordered.

I don't think we are currently capable of winning the next two games and winning 4 (almost 5) in a row. I don't expect us to beat Memphis, they routinely slam us. The more realistic goal is for us to work out some of these kinks and manage to be .500 over the next 6 weeks or so.

It will be amazing if we win the next two but I fully expect us to crap the bed and have some bad nights again. The main thing I want to see is consistent improvement. I want to feel a lot better about how this offense works in the first week of January than I feel about how it works right now.
