Theres nothing wrong with bringing him along slowly. Hes already played more than he ever has in college, if not will be passing the threshold very soon. Hes gonna wear out. And u guys gotta chill. Hes very good but hes a rookie.

I wonder if spurs fans were complaining like this when kawhi was a rookie. Cuz theyd have been looking crazy too.

Not really a fair comparison when you have 3 hall of famers and a hall of fame coach leading the way. Barnes is not playing behind a Tim duncan

He is playing behind 3 all star level players that r champions and for a top 5 coach tho.

Having numerous cooks (who can play about .500 ball) when a rookie is in game 17 of his career is absolutely fine.

Rushing a player who is not a great ball shooter / handler (yet), into a high usage role that he is not ready for is something perenially bad teams do to players that tend not to develop.

Does his role need to be tweaked to get shots at other spots. Sure. But forcing high usage on to him makes zero sense in my view.

I just don't get it.
