Re: PG: Rocky Mountain High
Painful game.
- Nuggets had a lot of people hitting difficult or shots they normally don't make. Really kept them in it.
- Caruso shot terrible and passed up several open looks. Great defense but not his best night.
- Coby was just freaking awful. His box score doesn't do it justice. Denver had their end of bench guys in and Chicago couldn't get separation because Coby wouldn't allow it. His defense continues to be atrocious but his decision making on offense sucks balls too.
Zach and Demar though. This is why stars are stars. The Bulls are going to be a tough out in the playoffs because these guys can score so well in a grinder of a game.
Fun fact: 3 J. Greens played in this game.

This has been a great road trip as far as I'm concerned.
Its an amazing road trip to be honest.
People were saying it would be hard...WITH VOOCH. To not have him going into these games, we were a tired second half in Portland from being 4-1 on this trip. Thats pretty amazing.
This is a roster learning to play together, missing some key pieces, that had a winning tough road trip.
Lot's to be encouraged about.

Absolutely amazing trip. I was saying I’d be happy with 2-3 going in. They exceeded my expectations as frustrating as the other night was

Refs were awful though.
If jokic actually played we would have played harder
Then flipside imagine if we had Vucevic this road trip
We closed out the clippers
We took it to the neck of the lakers
Then beat a team that got very hot in the 4th in a place we haven't won at since 2006.
This road trip was a success

Re: PG: Rocky Mountain High
I don't care they're missing half their roster. We just played 5 games in 7 nights while traveling on the road missing 40% of our starting lineup for all of it and nobody cares.
A win is a win y'all.
Edit: 5 games in 8 nights - Friday to Friday.

Re: PG: Rocky Mountain High
I said it in the GT and I am just gonna copy/pasta it here,
We legit lose half our games without DeMar. He has been a massive part of our success.
+1 to Vooch w/ the recruitment and +1 to Eversley for sealing the deal.
Zach has to be so fkn happy to have DeMar. We all know he wanted Lonzo, but holy sh%@ did he NEED DeMar.
Having another star scorer in their prime makes such a damn difference. Last year Zach would have had the same 13 points in a row but he would have had to force the last 3 possessions while being double-teamed. Completely different story this season.

Obviously love Zachs heroics .
Elite dude I’m proud of him as someone who had his his back since his 17ppg rehab season .
Donovan’s no center looks almost killed the team . It’s whatever . Vuc will be back soon and hopefully it’s a dying narrative .

Re: PG: Rocky Mountain High
I saw this as a trap game. Never sure who steps up when the star is out. Denver was able to get to the rim at will. Our guys looked sluggish most of the game. I don't know why we stopped attacking the rim in the 4th...they had no shot blockers. I wasn't sure we had the will to win at the end, but kudos to Zach's clutch 3's and Demar's foul drawing.
Zach had some nice drives to the rim. Loved his all-around arsenal tonight.
Demar was clanking his usual money shots, but what a gift he has to get to the line.
Ball and Caruso anchored the defense, but their shots weren't falling.
Green and DJJ were outsized but managed to both be plus players tonight.
Kudos to Billy for being able to stomach 11 minutes of Coby's putrid play...I might have stopped at 5 min.
Kudos to Billy for also giving Ayo 23 minutes. He made some nice clutch plays. His rebounds were important, and I love that he is becoming a reliable 3pt shooter.

Holy crap. Will Perdue is legit saying the Bulls should be disappointed in this road trip.

Re: PG: Rocky Mountain High
Since game 4 of the season we have played all playoff plus .500 teams and we are now tied for first in the east.
And our schedule about to get soft.
I'm elated right now
Once Vucevic gets back and coby finally shakes off the rust we will be taking off and have a great shot at 1st in the east.

Coby White is entirely out of wack. Too early to sound the alarm, but he clearly looks like a fish out of water on this team right now.
I hope Patrick Williams is taking notes of Javonte Green. THAT is how he needs to play.
Agree with the bolded part. I’ll be honest and say that he should play a few games with Windy City and I thought that that was the plan for him…

He's reading the team's eulogy right after a win in a place that we haven't won at in 15 years!

Will speaks the truth.
But it takes a LEADER in the locker room to have that approach right now.

We really need another 7fter. Bradley's brick hands kill me.
Even with Vuc coming back.. idc, we need another big.

What are your thoughts on the offense? Are you seeing as little creativity and as much hero ball isolation as I am?

Re: PG: Rocky Mountain High
Oh, and I'm sorry but the Nugz had a stupid hot shooting night. A lot of these shots were contested and they were knocking them down. If Gordon gets 28 points on 12 shots, Campozzo goes 4/5 on 3 and Barton gets 23 on 16 shots the rest of the way, Denver is winning the title.
