Box score is making Melo look way better than he actually played. Super disappointed by his night

Huge lesson for the kids here.

Dad is going to tear them a new arsehole in the locker room - and rightfully so.

At one point, it was looking like the best game of his career and then suddenly his worst

Melo (and the rest of the team) spent the last roughly 6-8 minutes of game time chasing a triple double and playing horrible basketball with braindead mistakes to close it out.

Last three possessions in a row just a train wreck of decision making on his part.

Wins a win. Teachable moment for JB, we're super lucky this lesson didn't come with a humiliating loss.

That was almost the worst loss of the season by far.

Anytime you can win and have teachable moments while doing so it's a great night.

That sums up Melo though doesn’t it, he’s brilliant but sometimes erratic, luckily he’s worth taking the good with the bad.

Be interesting to see how he goes in the finals when everything is tighter

In lamelos credit that last full court pass Miles should've caught. Why Lamelo didn't keep the ball and pass it with 25 seconds left was a massive mistake. He'll learn from it.

I'm just happy we inbounded the damn thing to be honest

7 of the next 8 on the road. This early schedule is rough.

He passed it off 2 or 3 times in fouling situations. He's a 93% ft shooter. Hold it
