You got to take The Way Back Machine way before Bieber. I was probably 40 when Bieber was a thing. By the way, that music REALLY SUCKS!

True story though, my aunt somehow got 2 tickets to Manilow at some theatre in Manhattan back before the turn of the century. It was a last minute thing, so I asked a buddy of mine (middle linebacker on the football team) not knowing what a Barry Manilow show was like. Free tickets, NYC, how can this go wrong?

Manilow comes out in a one piece sequins blue and gold sparkles jumpsuit jumping around like Charles Nelson Reilly (before your time). My buddy turns to to me and I look at him and we bust out laughing. We still like to tell this story. And yes we stayed for the full show.

Going into the game Jalen's career high was 30. I say was because he's going to drop 69 on our heads like vintage MJ

Knicks should have this . Woods is the only guy decidedly better at his matchup . If Fournier sucks so bad why have him play guard in a perimeter league? So I got RJ there.

Right now I’m leaning towards more ball handling for the wings instead of kemba . Try to get them more involved offensively and in rhythm .

I guess some of you expected to be a contender this year with all the doom and gloom posts. They are a .500 team give or take a few wins...at best. Aka treadmill territory. This is what they built. The same team as last year minus Reggie/Elfturd plus Kemba/Fournier. Not much to get excited about. This is all they will be. Overachieved last year. They will not be better without a trade. Said trade might not even happen this year. What did people expect?

I didn't expect them to be that great but I expected them to make moves that made them SLIGHTLY better than last year and I accepted their one year punt/two year plan to get the other players in.

This team is significantly worse and has exposed the FO, Randle, RJ, Mitch and the rest of the Knicks youth as not all that.
Otherwise, solid job.

I won't pretend to know the real pecking order as far as decisions that have been made but... that dude couldn't balance a roster after two years yet... he's still here.

The team is nothing more than it was last year. Other teams improved and we didn't. That's the bottom line. A washed Kemba and Fournier aren't the answer. That much is plain to see.

The team refuses to go young and stick with it. Killing draft position and going in circles is the result. Year after year. Play the kids and live with the results!!! That's not in the cards and it just keeps us on the outside looking in as we ignore the players we do draft. For what? Washed vet role players dominating the minutes? Terrible strategy.

I think a mixed approach of vets and youth can be solid. Again, being good or bad or mediocre matters. Knicks FO is mediocre. Which is a step up. For the Knicks. Usually their FOs suck. But this one? I'm not saying young without vets... I'm saying prioritizing the youth over a roster full of vet role players who get most of the minutes. That's all we have done. That's a terrible strategy. This FO is continuing that path. I agree with you about everything else. I know there is more than one way to build a team. The way this team has been doing it... continues to suck.

If that happens then starting lineup changes need to occur immediately, substitution patterns must change immediately and starter minutes must decrease immediately.
So Burks for Fournier starting.
Randle subbed earlier for Obi in the first quarter and Obi finishing either over 20 minutes per game while Randles minutes decrease to around 30.
Also we should look at signing a additional center like Pell.
