He’s only scored one bucket since this post. His teammates not feeding the hot hand or something ? Or he just cooled off ?

Clearly cooled off.

Finished 8/18 and 4/9 from 3.

So went 2/11 and 0/5 in quarter 2-4. He helped get them that big lead, then helped them lose the game.

so a win win for the next draft

Yup, I'm pleased by the development of Suggs lately and Franz has been a stud from the start. Let's get another top-tier prospect and see where we can go from there.

What's up with Barnes lately? Seem like he hasn't been as aggressive since Siakam came back. Is he having to defer?

Looks totally different since Siakam's return I agree.

Would you guys really be going after another big even with Bamba? I thought he’s looked good?

He's hit a bit of a rookie wall, and some of his misses seem to have caused him to be more passive, but he's still positively affecting the game in other ways, which is fairly rare for rookies who have "off" nights.

Tonight, for example, he had a tough time getting his own offence, but flashed some great playmaking and played solid defence. Finished with 6 assists and some of them were very impressive.

It should also be noted that teams are paying closer attention to him now than they were at the beginning of the year. The Kings doubled him a few times tonight when he had the ball inside the arc, and other teams in the past 5 games have done the same thing.

So yeah, he's slowed down a bit, but nothing to get too concerned about. He'll work through things and is still as impressive of a young player as he seemed earlier in the year.

Giddey 14/12/4 with his second double-double in a row (including 6 offensive boards). He has amazing awareness on the offensive glass.

Raps winning despite Barnes going 1-8!

(edit: don't take this serious Raps fans, just making the snarky little comments I always see back lol)

If he's long and can't shoot they will. We've been comparing Duren to a young Dwight.

I think Scottie’s had quite a few more impressive individual games, but Franz has been more consistently very good. He’s entering the Scottie/Cade tier for ROY debate in my opinion. Everyone’s still behind the lead Mobley built up.

I'd still have Barnes in the lead due to W-L and his heavy role.

I can totally see Cade becoming a Middleton-type player. He’s been better on defense than expected and his decision making is improving as he gets more acclimated. You knew the shot would come around eventually, too, because that was clearly his biggest strength in college. Imo he doesn’t have the size or the first step to be a true number one offensive creator (at least ideally) and superstar but I think he can be a secondary playmaker and 20+ point scorer in time, which would most likely be All-Star level. People who labeled him a bust after a rough start are gonna look dumb.

IDK, he looks 6'7 or so to me seeing as he's always looking a couple inches taller then the 6'5/6'6 guys. And his first step is completely non existent plus he uses skills to break his man down and get past them. He really doesn't have a hard time getting to his spots.
