I'm feeling really good about our title chances, as long as Brook and DDV are back after Xmas to get some time with the whole team together before the POs. Getting Allen and bringing DDV back might be the missing pieces. Giannis took another step and Khris looks better than ever.

Had to watch this one delayed. Yuck
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Nwora seems to be out of the rotation. Maybe saving him for the back to back

Semi with a sweet -16 in 17 minutes. He remains unplayable. Yet he plays.

I'm fine with where we're at. Consider our start to last season as well.

As long as we get it together at the back end, then we're making the finals again.

When Brook and DDV are back, Semi doesn't see the light of day.

I think Semi will be much better later in the season, but that development will come in practice. Absolutely no need to be playing right now. It's just too tough to play offense when he's in.

It's hard to be semi-sweet. People don't know what to make of you.

I'm kind of glad they're judiciously giving him extended minutes in these games, early in the season where the damage can be contained if, as appears to be happening, he makes you reach for the bleach when it's time to wash the sheets.

He's had a lot of ups and downs and has an intriguing story...

...so I don't mind watching him screw up now, as long as it's in games we win. I think there's more there than you would customarily see with a guy on a one year vet minimum deal. His Nigerian heritage is probably a plus for Giannis, and there is underlying talent yet to be shown. The only thing I really don't like about him is the way Lisa Byington loves to say "Shemmy" to remind us that she once read a press guide.

tydett wrote:Semi is a turd. At least with guys like Forbes last year, you were hoping you could throw him out there and he might throw flames once in a while. You throw Semi out there hoping he's not awful, which is pretty much at Thanasis level. At least Thanasis has the "is Giannis' brother" designation, so he's slightly worth more than Ojeleye.
Thanasis has improved this year. Not dramatically, but I trust him more than Semi which says enough right there.

Poku showed some glimpses being a great talent in his first year. He looks worse this year. That's a difference with Giannis who in his first years in the league was taking a leap each year. Poku could use the Suki treatment.
