I wonder if we can nab a semi-washed Milsap from BKN, Thompson from SAC, or Hernangomez from NO?

You used a big if and that is correct he has been pretty adamant he isn’t losing money. To follow that up though we could offer him more with the TPE than they could in California I believe, and money would seem to be a motivating factor. We could maybe get him Brian Wilson’s old house in St Charles so his family still has ties to The Beach Boys?

Do we have a TPE still?

Pretty sure we have some acronym exemption of a sort. Maybe fro the Theis S&T

“Fix” is a relative term, so I’m just looking at options to hopefully improve. What about the guy we had on the roster? Seems like Stanley Johnson could be a useful body to help platoon against big wings.

Althought not a power forward but with New Orleans on a free-fall this year maybe they're open to trading Valančiūnas for Coby, TBJ, Bradley and a 1st rounder in a tank move. To be able to always have one of Jonas or Vuc on the floor at all times would make us a legit title contender, maybe.

Saw that. It’s my unfamiliarity w/G-League rules, and/but in hindsight, silly of me to think we could possibly just get him when it’s team affiliated.

I don’t understand why Matt Thomas made the team over him in the first place. Redundancy doesn’t matter as much w/injuries, covid, and the fact the guy he lost out to is a human victory cigar.

Tristian Thompson Is a really nice fit on this Bulls team imo .

Just wondering why we never see Alize Johnson. I loved him in preseason games.
He was a rebounding monster and played much bigger than his size. Have we given up on him?
Shouldn't he get some more time at power forward? It seems like we also should have signed Hartenstein. He seems to be doing okay this year.

Seems like we could trade Coby or Derrick Jones to Houston or Oklahoma for one of their bigs. They are both building for the future.

I would much rather have Matt Thomas than either of those guys. I don't see anything in Thompson. Most I would do is swap Cook on a two-way for Diallo on a two-way, but I also like the (very little) I've seen of Cook. Regardless, odds are the answer to the PF spot isn't in the G League.

Randle beasting shows that there is still an issue at the 4, but Billy really needs to give Alize a shot there, IMO.

why do you think the marginal upgrade of a bigger body at pf is worth the tradeoff of having a player on the court who is less adept at executing our offensive and defensive schemes?

donovan isn’t just running 4-5 guards out there for kicks. there are costs and benefits to going small, and given the distribution of talent on our roster, i don’t see any reason to believe the alternative would be better

They're the only names that are available that the team can realistically attain. The team just needs size at the four which is better than having Green or Caruso manning the spot.

Yeah, if Alize can't even get consistent minutes guys like Diallo definitely won't.
