Bryce McGowens (younger brother of Trey) looks to have first round talent. He still has things to prove, though. He has beaten up on bad competition, but looked pedestrian against Creighton.

Nebraska doesn't play any power conference team again until December 1st. Will be interested to see how he looks against N.C. State.

Rich Man’s Kuzma. You only pick it up fractionally live but there’s some bad habits in his game.

Julian Strawther continues to impress me. 19 points (4 made threes) 6 boards in 24 minutes of play. This guy looks like a bonafide first rounder. Chet had a solid outing, as well.

Is there any use for a David Lee type in the modern NBA? Because there's no question Dre Timme could have a really productive career scoring at the NBA level. Just not sure if he'll bring any use from a defensive and spacing perspective.

I need to watch some more and against better competition. I don't like the Tatum/Kuzma initial comparisons, he seems like a much more fluid lead ballhandler. Tatum looks like a clear scoring wing. And Kuzma is like a poor mans Tatum, although I really do like KK as a roleplayer.

Real bad showing from Kennedy Chandler against Villanova. Just 6 points on 1-9 shooting. So far every single one of these freshman have been humbled early. Good to see some early adversity to see the resilience of these kids get tested.

He’s as if Classier Kuzma got to play a bigger role on a low College grade team. 2.7 TO/2 assists currently and shooting 21 % from 3 on 6+ attempts. Looks can be deceiving with PBJ. He jogged back twice on a fast break where he could of contested the shot easily. He’s chucking it abit.

Banchero is one of my fav prospects in the beginning but he has real flaws in his game and positional value (he’s locked as a leaky 4 with volume scoring, non facilitator which is basically Harris, Anthony, Griffin, no thanks even higher end Tatum/PG have their own flaws and they are on a different level tier wise).

It’s still Chet for number one to me with Smith Jr right there (Less skillful great physical profile).

The results aren’t great atm team wise and individually hence why I think he’s a tad overrated.

The two most underrated by far are Duren and Griffin JR. Had Duren top ten lock and Griffin Jr 3-5 lock respectively and nothing has changed. ADJ might actually be the 2/3rd best player in this draft if fit and playing well which he did last match just needs the reps now. Butler 2.0 that’s how high I rate him.

He’s just too small with no outlier trait. Cooper had scoring and high level passing (2nd best) still can’t get games. And Chandler looks less bulky.

It’s the most unfair game (height) if Abmas was legit guard size he’d go top 15 right now.

.... Duren has not been humbled.

Jaden Ivey is explosive, but man, this is the 2nd year in a row his shooting percentage from three is in the 20's.

I see 4 potential best player in the draft atm

1. Chet Holmgren - Has the skill but doesn’t have the body composition. But still that skill level has such a high ceiling if everything hits. 7ft more fluid Ingram on one end, 7ft more fluid Zingis on the other but comes with a Tauyshan Prince body type with less motor. He’s abit of an enigma currently

2. Jabari Smith Jr - Not as athletic as Paul George but has the height adv comes with less question marks than say someone like Jabari Parker. He’s gunning for that 1 spot but for me imo it’s tentative.

3 - Adrian Griffin Jr. 1/2 monsters under the bed creeping up smoking guns. Has “it” for me. Gets reps and plays well he can be anywhere from 1-3 best player in the draft when all said and done. 6”6 100+kgs with the power and finesse game of a guard that can play SF at the next level that is a walking mismatch. Think how Butler eats smaller guards and is too nimble for taller wings. Jimmy 2.0 I reckon

And finally...

4 - Keegan Murray - Gone from my personal 30-40 range to 20-10 now is certified top 1-10. Destroying it this year. All of 6”8 and perfect dimensions for a mismatch wing. You want mismatches look it’s way too early but the dude looks like kid version of Giannis with a jumper and the motor to match. He won’t be as a big as Giannis no chance. But kid version that can shoot is a headache and a half. Dude is destroying it so far

Those are my 4

Guards overall are a big meh. Brown (very intriguing Barnes type) and Christie is fantastic, Ivey can’t shoot that great and isn’t like Morant. Hardy is playing Jalen Green, Antman gamestyle which is not good to me personally.

Wings/PFs? Absolute goldmine. We should tank this year and try and get a good winger there’s plenty to choose from. (Still have to make the right choice)

If we want wings with size that can shoot it, I think we should zero in on guys like Johnny Juzang, Keegan Murray, Bennedict Mathurin, and Julian Strawther. All should be available where we're picking, with the exception of maybe Murray if he keeps scoring at the rate he has against garbage competition once conference play rolls around.

Assuming Maxey is the dribble penetrator and Embiid is the post guy, I think we need all other spots in the rotation filled with bombers.

I think Mathurin is sorely underrated. Juzang would be too small for us and yeah with Murray if keeps playing like this would go in the top 10. Benedict is ready made offensively for a wing which is something we don’t usually draft though lol he has a fantastic wingspan and even looks longer live some inspector gadget stuff.

Only downside I see he def ain’t 6”6-6”7. 6”7” that is 200cm. (Imperial system sucks and it’s easy to doctor the numbers, metric on the otherhand not so much) but his wingspan subverts it so it no troubles he’ll be more SG size imo.

I'm surprised nobody mentions Keegan Murray. He might be off to the hottest start in the country (albeit against scrub competition). He literally looks like a perfect basketball player right now.

Marquette's Justin Lewis?

Look at his size, look at his game. Sleeper, for sure. Already had some good games against good competition.

6'8 freshman with good shooting splits, a fine 3PAr, an excellent FTr, and has distributing chops? Lacks a bit of athleticism.

Granted I just started diving into this class, but am I missing something on why he's not talked about as much?

Memphis boys got humbled by Virginia Tech.

Bates with 9 points in 23 minutes on 2-10 shooting.
Duren with 6 points in 22 minutes on 3-7 shooting.

Needed senior DeAndre Williams to bail them out and get the win.
