Legit laughed at the "Hawks are 8-9 where are all the haters at now" post. Lol good job, I guess.

I'm just guessing of course, but I don't think Dre was 100 percent healthy, he wasn't moving well out there. Also, it seems Huerter has thrived in a starting role the past six games.

Yeah Dre for sure wasn't healthy and it has been noticeable compared to early last season when he was our 2nd best player. Hopefully he can get back to what he was one day but you never know. With that said the biggest thing i have noticed is how well Capela is moving the last few games and how much a difference that makes for the Hawks. Alot of our defense is based around Cap and when he isn't healthy it hurts us big time. The healthier he gets the better our team looks overall.

If I'm a Hawks fan, I wouldn't acknowledge the attention seekers. If you know this team, it's all understood. They will go on a massive landslide of Ws all through the remainder of this calendar year I'd reckon...

Long as certain guys stay healthy. Nobody remembers the fast starts, only the strong finishes

Right, I'm sure this type of crap happens every year with slow starts and hot takes (actually we know it does).

We're still not even a quarter through the season though. Gotta not forget that when overthinking some of these records and individual play.

atl is at that level where there's lots of movement

9 of the top10 teams in the east are all unexpectedly good or bad.
in fact it's safe to say that the only unaffected teams are still there at the bottom. but it's chaos everywhere else. there is no team specific explanation. this is macro sports at work.

the result of this chaos is, guess who's just above atl.......MILWAUKEE AND PHILLY. so for the immediate time being, those two are who atl has to jump ahead of

Spot on about Clint moving better and looking like his own self. He's the anchor of the defense and it's great when he is fully in shape. I think he had to play his way into shape.

Capela is finally back to being Capela. It has been huge to have that anchor for our defense back. We aren't winning without him playing like a beast.

Hawks will be fine.

Injuries and ECF hangover affected their early season play.

They'll be a top 5 Eastern Conference team when the regular season is over.

Yeah anyone who has played sports before knows it takes a few weeks of playing to get to 100% game quality healthy where you trust it enough to do everything you usually do and for it not to be sore or swollen when getting back into shape.

The Hawks had a nice season last year ... it doesn't mean they've arrived. All the 20-win teams last year will be trying to take that same step ... well except the tankers.

Well would you look at that. Another win. 5 in a row. Hawks are now 9-9 and are gang busting people. All you haters and doomsayers look so brilliant now.

The schedule is leveling out. A short two game road trip coming up: then close out the month with the Knicks at home on the 27th.

Hawks should continue moving up the standings the next few weeks.

Some of those teams are pretty good sleepers.Houston, Orlando, maybe Memphis are the only bad teams.

One of the funniest unironic posts in realgm history. Reminds me of the webcomic where the guy is splashing champagne and celebrating with a 3rd place on the podium

Hawks should be favored in all except for Philly. I honestly expect them to go 8-2. They have figured out a rotational system that has them winning relatively comfortably during this streak
