Just another sacrificial lamb. Kings refuse to address the root of their problem which is their front office and also refuse to make the players accountable. It's a terribly constructed roster.

Complete dumpster fire of an organization.

He’s been riding that run while Kerr was out with back surgery for like half a decade.

Their front office is relatively new though. Walton was hired by the previous regime.

Come on man, let us have this!
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

I don’t think replacing him with Gentry would help with their defence at all. But this is an interesting option:

I think their new analytic guy/front office minus Vladdy is good, but the owner may still be influencing some decisions. Hopefully thats not the case. They have some good backcourt pieces, maybe even some redundancy, and need a forward/centre pretty badly imo

Thinking this will probably be the last we see of Luke Walton as NBA head coach. The guy got extremely lucky being a temp head coach on that Warriors team when Kerr was out due to health issues. Got years of NBA head coaching experience and millions of dollars out of that. Now time for him to go do something else because he's not really a good head coach material.

Losing to the Raptors has a history of Coaches getting fired, Player's Only Meetings, and NBA shutdowns.

Their owner is also to blame. He gets involved in trades and drafts doesn’t he? Instead of letting his GM do his job (yeah they suck too), he makes them draft guys Bagley, Stauskas, etc. But of course the coach is the sacrificial lamb.

Yeah not sure if they still have the same ownership but if it's still the same then these problems are likely going to continue. It's a shame to see the state of this franchise. In the early 2000's you were selling out arenas, they had one of the best fanbases in the league. But tanking and poor ownership has completely ruined this franchise. The arena looked half full the other night and they were booing the team in the 2nd quarter. lol
