At halftime, Ed Davis has 13 rebounds in 14 minutes.
Kevon Looney has 0 rebounds in 14 minutes.

The fact that Ed Davis was ever playing behind Tacko is such a joke.

Man, given the fact we're missing our starting center, PF, SF, and SG, I wasn't even going to watch. I'm glad I changed my mind.

You mean, part of a plan to find a guy who will be a useful backup in three years when Ed Davis is out of the league?

I feel like Windler needed to play more in the 4th quarter.

Windler has taken four shots in his last four games (53 minutes played), so I'm not sure he would have made any kind of difference.

We needed some kind of burst of energy or curve ball to counter the Warriors ratcheting up their defense and Curry igniting. Leaning on Okoro, Rubio, and Garland to that extent on the second night of a back to back was rough - especially after Toscano-Anderson countered our rebounding advantage.

Ed Davis was a big factor in this game, but he simply would not help the guards out on 3pt attempts - which was working great - with one obvious exception.

Sending Kevin Love in, otoh, was like raising a flag that says "go attack the rim!".

We needed some sort of a gimmick ... maybe plant Tacko in the middle, play a zone so we can send another man at Steph when he gets a screen, and cheat like heck off of everyone else not named Bjelica.

Rubio was gutty, but ineffective. JBB might have sat him and tried Pangos, Valentine, or dusted off Nembhardt to see what one of them might do.

Admittedly playing Tacko, Pangos or Nembhardt would had been a "hail Mary" move ... but the situation called for some sort of counter.

The team was simply gassed. Rubio couldn't even hold his balls in their place. No legs. In the fourth quarter the whole team was just crawling, Curry GOT on fire and no answer could come from us. We did too much both games with half of the team out. Even the Warriors speakers were saying that.

That's a direct result of two factors: (1) Garland and Rubio trying to do too much; and (2) The Cavs running very little off ball action for Windler. The plant him at the three point line and his man either helps off of him, or not. It's usually not.

This shouldnt even be talked about any more imho. A team missing 4 starters and significant bench guys vs. the probable MVP and a championship contender. Kept up 3 of 4, good game to learn from. Is anyone seriously expecting to win win this game?

The Warriors other than Steph were not all that impressive. Once we made it out of the 3rd quarter, it just seemed we had to figure out a way to stave off exhaustion and not let Curry beat us.

On the other hand, what the Cavs did might be a blueprint for a team with more offensive punch than we did that night. The Warriors were always the most dangerous when Steph double teams let them move the ball. Maybe letting Steph try to score 50 every night is the way to go ....
