Re: Brown/Tatum
I have to go with Brown. Only wish he had Tatums length and durability. Brown it seems any time he has time off goes and works on his game and comeback improved. Tatum out side of the year between Duke and Celtics hasn't come in after a break with something really new to his game. He developed it during the season and more relied on his raw natural talent.
Wish we could of turn Tatum into Giannis.
Unfortunately most of the other realistic players I might consider are too close to providing the same as Brown, like Donovan Mitchell or Trey Young. Want more players who go out and get it and don't want to be in the Lebron/Durant/Kyrie click which unfortunately seems to be a big priority for Tatum.

Too lazy to bump a Jaylen Brown thread. No offense to Tatum. Oops.

Will be great to have him back. We really miss him. Tatum is finally coming around though.

It is close and that's great news for us. Brown is catching up to Tatum and can be just as impactful as him and even more in certain matchups if he rounds his game up and stays healthy.

I won’t get into a debate between the two, but Jaylen always starts the season catching up to Tatum, and then as the season goes on, Tatum widens the gap again. It makes sense though, Tatum is two years younger by season age, he’s 23 almost all of this season, whereas Jaylen turned 25 a week into the season.
Jaylen needs to stop being banged up, which of course contributes to why his play usually falls off a bit as the year goes on.

TV people are so dumb lol. On ESPN today they pointed out we won our third straight game and Jaylen came back from injury and had 19 points last night. Then they asked if Tatum or Brown deserved more credit for our turnaround. And Kendrick Perkins had to explain that Brown wasn't playing and thus Tatum was the answer to the question. Uhhh duh?

I like that Tatum is looking to pass more and create for his teammates. He'd be averaging more than 5 assists per game if his teammates converted on his passes.
Hopefully JB transitions into a playmaker too.
