He looked less fluid in HS. Definitely has thrown his hat in the ring for the #1 pick.

I watched this:

Then just started watching this game:

Only 58 seconds into the USF game and holy crap Jabari looks good. Love the intensity he is showing on defense. He's up there pressing full court, quickly switches onto a different offensive player near half court, then pressures the heck out of his man with the ball, knocks it loose for a deflection, then plays awesome help D on the baseline drive, blocking the shot at the rim.

Moving so damn fast and fluid on the court for a 6'10" dude.

Looking like #1 pick.. this dude is legit.

That's just flat out a pro move. That guy is going top 5. No two ways about it.

86% on free throws after going 12/12 last night. Doesn’t turn 19 until May. Definitely looking like he’s in the running for #1.

I was right about 3 point shooting. I expect to be right about Tacko Fall. Some coach will figure out how to use Tacko Fall. This movement towards undersized centers will sweep ng back. Back to the basket scorers will return to the NBA.

I didn’t know he doesn’t turn 19 until May. Yeah he’s the clear number one for me at this point. I at least understand the fascination with Chet. I’m dumbfounded people have Banchero ahead though.

Yeah he’s an entire year younger than Chet.

It's the fluidity of the movements at that size. Like young Serge Ibaka or KG. These guys just look like they were born to play high-level basketball.

It’s too early to have anyone out of the 3 as the clear number one at this point. And tbh if you can’t see why Banchero’s rated highly that’s more of a blight on you than anyone who rates him.

He is 1, Chet is 2, then its debatable who is 3.

That probably wouldn't be much of a debate if it goes that way cause Banchero wouldn't drop past 3.

For some reason I didn’t know he was 6’11. I thought he was 6’8. That changes a lot. And he kind of looks like a Giannis that’s played ball all his life.

probably closer to 6-10 than 6-11, and doesn't have Giannis' wiry athleticism, to me he's a bigger Jayson Tatum.

This is a guy you tank the season for. He doesn't even look like he belongs in college. I would take him over Cade or Green right now (not Mobley).

Yeah, he's nowhere near Giannis as an athlete and also doesn't have the same kind of length. He's also much more of a finesse player who really likes to shoot which is why I actually had the same thought as you did: he's somewhat similar to Tatum but more of a clear PF version instead of a SF/PF.

Reminds me of Shareef Abdur-Rahim or even a Joe Smith. He has a 90s tweener 4/5 vibe. This is a much better era for that archetype though.
