He was also sonned by AD in the final minutes when he's been clutch in other games. Again tarnished triple double but still nice and shows his potential.

Not all triple doubles are equally impressive. See Russ Westbrook as a prime example. Not saying Cade is a stats hog/chucker but Cade did quite a bit poorly in last nights game to offset the good. Again, not a problem, but lets not act like he had a great performance across the board just because he put up some gaudy stats.

He shot poorly down the stretch and got blocked by AD. Outside of those two things, he played one hell of a game. Did you watch the game or just read the statline? Nothing tarnishes a triple double. Especially not for a 20 yr old rookie, in hist first 11 games, going up against a star studded "contender", who was in it until late.

Cade also had two turnovers late in the fourth quarter (4:45 & 2:30) before he got blocked by AD twice in the same play. He didn't shoot well for most of the game and then played poorly in crunch time. That said, I understand he's just a rookie so I'm not freaking out about it, its all part of the learning process.

Does it make you feel better when other rookies shoot bad so you can feel better about Barnes' struggles lately? Yes, he couldve shot better, but a triple double is a triple double.

Cade will get dialed in, he will be a nightmare for a long long time.
His missed threes are just off (in and out) type. And he's not going to stop shooting on a Detroit team that needs shooting.
The exciting part will be the 2nd half of this season when a lot of the barely missed balls start finding the bottom of that basket.
With that said, another reason so many of us are ride or die with the MotorCade is his constant motion, he's everywhere.
This is the dynamic of why you will see the triple doubles. There is no area of the court where he won't make his real estate. He is much more than a 3 PT sniper who is currently hitting below his potential efficiency. He is a triple double threat at all times, whose efficiency is slowly improving.
Remember this is his 11th game, I can't wait for what's next.

Cade had a triple double which is something that’s cool because it bodes well for his all-around game going forward.

He also played relatively poorly, because double digit rebounds and assists don’t just offset an extremely inefficient 13 points on 21 shot attempts.

Both can be true.

I do agree yoyoboy.
I also feel his shooting efficiency is going to go up over time, quite a bit in fact.
It was already slowly trended up before last night's cold shooting.
