And plenty others have purposely hit dudes with elbows, hands etc. Only LeBron gets chastised like he has and honestly he was the least likely of any of them to do it. It was a physical play by Stewart, LeBron got his arms up and caught him. Not a big deal.

He will serve his one or two game suspension and everyone can just move on and find new ways to be fake mad at him.

Its not 1986 anymore. Turns out the game has changed and elbowing people in the face is looked down upon.

Really Stewart is the problem - why did he have to get all bloody after being hit in the face? He should have taken the concussion, fallen down and let Lebron have the rebound. Blame should be like 90% Stewart, 10% Lebron. 8-)

Fining a 20 year old kid that makes $3 million per year $1 million for that would be beyond insane. That'd be like fining LeBron $15 million.

Yes, this is what I was thinking, Lakers had been losing up to that point, he got fed up, plus Stewart was playing unnecessarily extra physical on the boxout (plus Stewart was supposed to box out the other guy), and Stewart might have lost his balance and kind of leaned on LeBron, so it was his head closest to LeBron's shoulder instead of his arm, which got hit aggressively by LeBron. This is my interpretation: it was an accident, he meant to hit Stewart's arm but hit his head instead.

Throughout his long career, LeBron has shown he's not one to initiate or escalate fights, even when other players in his position would probably have in some highly provoking instances because he has a remarkable ability to not only keep his cool but also regain his cool when he lost it momentarily.

I think 18 years of clean sheet deserves some benefit of the doubt, but dudes just want to put LeBron in jail, smh...

I am a LeBron fan, but in a general basketball sense, not because he's my fave player, just like I'm a fan of Steph and Luka.

Lebron got a game. Stewart two. Should have been the same, but Stewart did go a bit crazy there (mostly understandably so). 'Bron has to miss the MSG game.

I have to laugh. The national media got what they wanted with the bs narrative they were pushing today which was "Even though Lebron punched Isaiah in the face you have to suspend Isaiah for more games because of his reaction." Such bs but comical at the same time.

what a joke.

not condoning stewart's behaviour but he didn't even TOUCH a player on the opposing team yet he got suspended longer than the guy who actually punched him in the face. it's almost like the league is saying, "punching someone in the face isn't cool but getting mad about being punched in the face REALLY isn't cool".

for those that are familiar with letterkenny i wouldn't be surprised if lebron came down with the "native flu" for their rematch this coming sunday.

Does Lebron get the one game if Stewart didn't react like he did? I bet not. So good on Stewart in a way - get a spotlight on what Lebron would have otherwise got away with because according to his very self serving teammates "he's not a dirty player".

Pistons play the Lakers in LA in four games. So both James and Stewart will be mixing it up again.

Isaiah Stewart nearly incites an all-out brawl & gets suspended for 2 games….

Here’s where I have a problem.

This is a classic case of the reaction causing everything to be blown out of proportion.

Did Joel Embiid get suspended for nearly knocking Lonzo Ball into Wisconsin?
