I'd love to see some of you get knocked the ** out and then put in jail and see how you react.

Pretty much what happened with Stewart. Lebron definitely knw what he was doing.

Both probably should've been suspended longer but Silver is a softy, and NBA doesn't want an unnecessary fight with Lebron/NBAPA.

Looks like it was spread as fake news, sorry for my role in exacerbating the situation.

If you think they should be suspended longer, you are the real softy!

That's honestly bull. Cap relief for a player getting suspended. How is that a rule?

This is how fake news and outrage spreads. Sure, lose respect for Bron on a non-existent $950K fine.
Looks like it was fake news, my apologies. Lebron still is a classless, dirty POS regardless.

not condoning stewart's behaviour but he didn't even TOUCH a player on the opposing team yet he got suspended longer than the guy who actually punched him in the face. it's almost like the league is saying, "punching someone in the face isn't cool but getting mad about being punched in the face REALLY isn't cool".

for those that are familiar with letterkenny i wouldn't be surprised if lebron came down with the "native flu" for their rematch this coming sunday.

Stewart was running over coaches and referees trying to get back to Lebron.

I would also be fine with both players getting a 4 game suspension, but this feels fair.

Pretty sure that has been a thing always. All teams in luxury tax benefit from this.

Good news is Stewart knows the penalty for violently swinging your closed fist into someone's face is just a game. Might come in handy on Sunday when he plays the Lakers.

Stewart should’ve gotten more for nearly starting a brawl.

You could argue that Lebron shouldn’t have gotten any.

Yeah, I think I've seen it before, but it shouldn't be a thing. Getting rewarded for punishment makes zero sense

Look what he did to Embiid last year? To Draymond. There are tons of things he's done.

retaliation often gets punished more than the initial incident, whether it's right or wrong. but that system only works to deter people from retaliating if the initial incident is appropriately punished. that way, people that get sucker punched have faith that the league will bring them justice.

the league giving lebron ONE GAME for blatantly sucker punching someone and then suspending that person two games when they didn't even touch an opposing player (though he did fly off the handle and should get suspended) is nowhere near justice.

i bet stewart in this situation hasn't learned a single lesson other than next time someone sucker punches him, punch him right back because that's the closest thing to justice he'll get.

Lol seriously. The LeBron slobberfest is ridiculous on this board. Can't wait till he retires. Not my GOAT.

The Pistons are now starting to work on shoulder flexibility exercises at the beginning of practice in preparation for Sunday's game.

He punched Stew (on purpose) with a closed fist. A player who was defenseless. The Lebron defenders have been out in full force for 24 hours+

Agreed, I have no qualms with the suspensions handed out either.
