Re: NBA PLAYOFFS Game 3: Phoenix @ San Antonio
I expect either a Spurs huge blowout, or a pretty close game.
Dragic needs to be huge this game. First game, our big three stepped up, second game Dudley and Frye stepped up. Third game is where we need a different x-factor to keep the Spurs lost.
I expect George Hill to get energy from the crowd, I hope we can maintain and build a lead early so their crowd doesn't effect the game too much, however I could see the lead going back and forth all game.
Honestly, I'm not sure what to expect out of the Suns this game...

Suns are awfully quiet on Lopez's status for tonight. I think he plays in game 3 or 4 now, since we brought him on the trip. If he still needed more treatment, vice conditioning and practice, they would have left him in Phoenix to rehab.
Instead, the Suns brought him along, which means they figure there's a stronger chance that he will be ready for a game than the odds he won't be...

A huge blowout by the Spurs...
The first game wasn't really a blowout or a close game, kind of in between lol.
Imagine if RoLo plays tonight and drops 20 and 10.

I think Suns will keep playing hard and focused and with defense, and dominate to win 3 straight, putting SA on the brink of elimination facing a possible sweep.
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed
The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

I hate reading your posts Brandon, you're such a downer on the Suns
It'll be close, should be good to see how the Suns react on the Spurms court.

Re: NBA PLAYOFFS Game 3: Phoenix @ San Antonio
Fine Gary...
Suns are going to win a very close game. Go up 3-0, lose game 4 and then finish it in Game 5. Is that frikkin better for you?
Now if we lose tonight, I fully blame you for not liking my negativity. Because if you didn't know already, when I would post in the game threads and say the Suns would win, they lose, and when I say they lose, they win. You just jinxed us Gary... thanks.
We are now going to lose the next four games, Amare will not re-sign with us, Frye is booking to New York, Amundson is leaving, and the Suns are mediocre next year.

Re: NBA PLAYOFFS Game 3: Phoenix @ San Antonio
The Suns have so many guys that can step up, the odds are always good we'll have at least one exceptional performance - even if that performance is mental and not a box sheet stuffing (i.e., Dudley Game 2).
Think about it; all of the following people are perfectly capable of getting serious points (20+) and 10 assists or 10 rebounds (and moreover have done it in the past):
30+ / 10+
Amar'e
Nash
Hill
Rich
25+ / 7+
Frye
Dudley
Barbosa
20+ / 7+
Dragic
RoLo
Lou has done (and could very well do) what Studley did in Game 2.
... and then there's Collins.
Basically, with the exception of Collins, the entire 10-player rotation has the ability to have game-changing "X-Factor" performances. And not just in the "the guy has potential", "Marcus Banks' 23-point explosion" sort of way: these guys have done it before, this season, several times.
This is why a deep bench is so important. Everyone has ups and downs, a result of being human (and matchups and fatigue and so on), but having a 10-man rotation allows many more ups to compensate for the downs.
