I felt bad leaving Davion Mitchell, Bones Hyland and a few other guys off the poll, but there are just too many good rookies to fit. Sengun is the new addition to the poll this time.

You could replace Suggs and other with Mitchell and Hyland.
Right now it’s Scottie Barnes vs. the field since Mobley wasn’t head & shoulders over everyone before his injury

East #1 Draft Picks: Fultz, Banchero, Wiggins, Cuninigham

That's how I see it too. Cade is coming on strong despite the poor shooting. The ball is going thru Siakam now and it's going to diminish Barnes stats somewhat. Injury sucks for Mobley.

Since I saw on twitter that Cade got TD, I just checked out his highlights of yesterday's game..watching the highlights made me realize how generous NBA is in what you consider as an assist.

I did consider that. I wanted to keep "other" because it at least gives people something to vote for if their guy isn't an option. And it's actually been getting more votes than some of the other choices in the previous polls.
As for Suggs, I've been trying to keep the highest picks as options and just wasn't ready to pull the plug on him. If other rookies are outperforming him he'll get the boot in the next poll. (Sorry Magic fans)

Hey no worries about us if Suggs gets outperformed FOR NOW. We know the PG position is tough and this is what we expected of the rebuild. We already am glad of his defense, court-vision and the like. We always say his form looks good (his FTs indicate that) and its just a matter of time before they start going in.
Im now curious of how Mobley will react/recover from his 2 weeks(???) hiatus and if Siakam will "hinder" Barnes development.
And my 1st choice Cade is def improving as expected.

The lack of Giddey love in the last dozen pages of the previous thread was pretty alarming given he was on the verge of posting 3 double doubles in a row. I think his name was mentioned once in the last 20 pages of the thread.
Needs a lot more love imo instead of the same continual circle jerk over the same 2-3 players for another 50 pages.

Yup that's what i have too.
Barnes has been slowing down scoring wise (might be workload) but he's still rebounding very well and improving his playmaking.

To me Barnes has been kind of coming down to earth as he’s scoring less and he’s lost on defense when I watch him, which was supposed to be his calling card. He’s been really bad on defense the last week. I haven’t saw Wagner enough, but they say he’s playing excellent defense. If that’s accurate, I might have him ahead of Barnes already.
Cade and others are improving. Mobley is clear best if he’s only out for projected 12-14 games. His defensive numbers are unheard of for a rookie and he’s hands down the best player in the class who is the difference between winning and losing already. Even absent him if he misses too many, I think there are a lot of others in the conversation.
If I had to vote up to this point, it would be Mobley, Barnes, Wagner
Cade is still shooting poorly, but if he gets that straightened out to a respectable level, I expect he’ll eclipse Barnes and Wagner and it will just be a matter of whether Mobley plays enough games.
A lot of the other rookies who are playing well are more role players. Some are playing their role excellently like Hyland. I wish Sengun played more.
Green and Suggs have been really disappointing so far. As much flack as Suggs has caught, his numbers and efficiency are really similar to Green’s.
Great class so far.
If I had to guess how it will be at the end of the year, I’d guess
1-Mobley
2-Cade
3-Barnes
4-Wagner
If Mobley misses too many, and the others stay healthy, I’d guess Cade will win it.

This is an oversight for me. Just looked at his numbers and he’s certainly earned being in the top 3-5 conversation. Like Wagner, I haven’t saw him as much as the other guys. I hadn’t realized he’s had such an uptick in his scoring. Now at 10ppg with impressive all around game.

Ayo is the best second round rookie of the year.
By the end it will likely be Cade, but I really liked what Mobely and Barnes have done more. Cade might have more of an Anthony Edwards second half. Both Barnes and Mobley have better teams than Cade does and that helps as a rookie IMHO.

Sorry, but Dalano “BPM God” Banton has been the best second round pick so far and as the kids say “it isn’t close”.

Does seem kinda close. Honestly haven't watched Dalano but one game so I can't comment too much, but Ayo has been impactful in a number of wins this year too. He has to fight for more minutes in the rotation too as I think right now the Bulls are a deeper team. Both are essentially playing for hometown teams though and it is a cool story either way.

Yeah I’m just teasing. I haven’t seen Ayo at all, but thanks for putting him on my radar.
