The C's didn't have as many comfortable wins like this last year, where they just took care of business against really weak teams. They always made us sweat, as every winnable game felt like a trap game. Now they've had three straight games where they never felt threatened after they went up big. The addition of true veterans like Horford, Schroeder, and Richardson have been huge, coupled with further maturity by the core three of Tatum, Brown, and especially Smart.

We finally look like a normal good team again, one with an identity (extremely solid defense and great ball movement). Hopefully they can keep this rolling and beat the Nets' asses next game.

Agreed. The biggest difference to me is defense. We’re unlikely to be a great shooting team with the current roster, but if we play D like we’ve show we’re capable of, we can keep it close with all but a handful of teams.

Cleaning the glass (garbage time filtered out) has us 7th in net rating, and 4th in defensive rating.

Is that good?

Yeah he didn’t look right, hoping it was just him not wanting to push it.

Ime trusting him with the ball plus the team as a whole moving the ball and their bodies contributed to this.

Worst start in team history may have something to do with that and the team playing like it didn't care was another reason. Ime being outcoached every game wasn't fun either nor were his rotations.

While the team has being finally fun to watch over the last 5 games, the next 10 games will be tough schedule. If we can go 6-4 or better, that will be a real positive.

Good win. Rockets are in full tank mode and the NBA is allowing that.

VC goes to Tatum. He was really good again.

Horford had a good game.

Rob dominated the glass. This must have been his best rebounding game of his career or top 3 for sure.

Schroder gave us the scoring he needed off the bench.

Grant was solid with 2 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and that big block.

Brown was good. He did most of his damage in that 65 second stretch where he scored 10 points. That was amazing.

This was Romeo's best game of the season.

Ime had another good coached game and is getting better over the last 2 weeks.

Why are the Rockets allowed to tank by the league by not playing a healthy John Wall? OKC was allowed to do that with Horford last season too. The NBA would get upset at teams for resting players but now this is okay?

I gave it to Grant Williams for his excellent defense throughout the game, and especially for that great block in the 4th quarter, then bringing it up and finding Nesmith for the trey.

we're saying this because we didn't tank right smart's year but it's a good thing Danny drafted right. he tried to tank for embiid (maybe) by getting rid of everybody but accidentally replaced them with IT4 and Jae.

Meanwhile Schroder finished tonight's game with 0 assists, and had 4 turnovers. I like his scoring, but...

As for the cigar? Well, Mr. Tatum smokes it again. Quite a streak he's got going. The team is playing well, and coincidentally, they are moving the ball. Hmmm. Role players continue to deliver. Thank you Grant and Romeo. Bring on the Nets.

To give an idea of how much harder scoring has been this year, JT’s string of four games of 30+ is the longest in the league so far this season.
