Any calls on Bamba trade? Bucks 2086th second round, top 59 protected pick?

Orlando outscores the Bucks by 18 points in the 4th, AND loses by 29 points. Ouch.

If someone were to tell me that Mudler would be the most outstanding starter in this game, I would have predicted a 29 point loss.

:banghead: I don’t think a 50 point loss was out of the equation last night.

Well, the Magic was down 47 to start the 4th. Actually, if the Bucks had tried to play basketball in the 4th, a 60+ loss was possible. The Magic was after 3 quarters on pace to losing by 60.

Actually, at half-time, the Magic was on pace to lose by 80. Sad.

The funny thing in all of this, is if before the game we were told that the Magic would hold Antetokounmpo to 4-12 shooting AND that no Bucks starter would score 20 - all of which actually occurred, we fans would have been pretty happy about that.

Last thought: Orlando's starters combined for 28 points. That's a total for five players.

p.s. George Hill scored 7 points off of the bench and yet went +32. Insane!

I lied:

Another stat: Mo Wagner by himself scored more than starters F-Wagner, Carter, Bamba, and Suggs COMBINED.

This may well be the worst playmaking performance I've seen by an NBA team in the last 10 years, we couldn't run a basic pick and roll or pick and pop for most of the game and just chucked horrendous shots one after another. Just painful to watch and it really doesn't help the development of the young players.

Tbh only team that has objective chance at being worst than us on East are Pistons. On West it's Houston. Other than that yea.. We are terrible basketball team. Top 5 worst offense, defense, points differential, net rating...

Our somewhat ok start was on heels of unrealistic shooting from outside from players that are not plus shooters.
Maybe we are bit better with Isaac and Fultz but even at full strenght this roster would not sniff over 35 wins.

Cole got injured just in time to protect the impressive net rating of the starting lineup.

If we are being honest thats a good thing. I really believe we made a choice between building around Demar Derozan (he reportedly wanted to play with Vucevic, Lavine also wanted to play with Vucevic) or tanking. At the time i prefered building around Vucevic but when we decided otherwise it was clear we need to get as bad as possible. I am actually pleased our front office made us as bad as we are, its quite impressive. Not a single useful veteran, prolonged rehabilitation of most of our good players, rookie coach. Yep thats a tank done by proffesionals.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

Bamba had the 5th worst ever plus/minus in Orlando history:
Bamba goes -39 LINK

Doing that in only 20 minutes played is truly a "special" "achievement".

Brazdeikis goes 1-2 with three points in only 12 minutes played and lands on a +18 plus/minus stat line.
