I tend to agree, especially after his last drive when he sliced through four defenders for a bucket. I actually said aloud to myself "holy ****, are you kidding me?"

It'll come. He was especially hot with his jumper today, so he was probably feeling good with those last two looks.

Too hot, too cold, or just right?

just right I think.

If that jumper from today is real, he won't be there long.

Gut says 1 more year after this one, but who knows.

Davis is fun to watch.

I love me some Wahl, but that boy needs to get some touch on the jumper.

Great resume win for sure. Good start. Keep it rolling.

I had a moment of weakness for like the 2nd time in like 5 years during the A&M start and was off the Gard wagon for like 10 minutes after the Providence game. Never again. Never.

Johnny Davis is the best pro prospect the Badgers have ever had. Talking one man Elite Eight team type vibes.

Not to get wayyyyy too far ahead of myself, but…

Seeing a little Kawhi Leonard without the freakish length in there.

He will eventually be a good/great shooter from 3. He might be now…but I do want to see if he can stick now well into the 30+% mark for the bulk of the season. He was showing signs last year but hadn’t been hitting them until tonight.

Dude. Don’t take anything so seriously. We are on the Bucks board. Making fatalistic statements ten times a day is completely normal. I just assume everyone is at best half serious in anything they say.

No doubt. Even so…

This my third decade on this board, God help me, I’ve seen and made so many intentionally and unintentionally hyperbolic statements over the years, they all just lose all meaning in my mind.

For instance, I just compared Johnny Davis to Kawhi Leonard. So there’s that.

Depends. If he averages 20 and is efficient from 3. The motor and the defense is there. Strength could improve. I could see him being a lottery pick next year. I can also see him being a four year guy, playing with his brother and trying to get a NCAA championship (if the badgers could ever land a big recruit or transfer or two).

I dont think he's at the Kaminsky, Dekker level yet as a prospect.

Devin Harris went #5 in the LeBron draft right? I doubt he ever reaches that high as a prospect.

Definitely will be a better prospect than Michael Finley was coming out of school after his senior year, that was a bucket of ass shooting wise. If he left his junior year, he may have been a top 10 pick.
Khris Middleton - Beating up on Trash Can Teams since 1943. Invisible Man status otherwise.

For the hell of it I just looked it up, in his first 12 seasons in the NBA Michael Finley averaged 39 minutes per game.
