I couldn’t love Wahl more (unless he could hit a jumper)

Would have called a travel or a jump before that foul.

Having Davis back made all the difference when comparing the Providence game and the Maui/Las Vegas invitational games.

They have plenty of things to work on but they're sooooo young and infinitely more enjoyable than last years team. Hopefully they get more comfortable with the offense as the season goes along.
only a fan, only an opinion

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
They don't play like a young team. Shocked that this squad seems to have figured it out on defense this early.

They got down what? 10, midway through the second half?
Battled back to win by 5?
Lots of guys and composure for a young team. Reuvers’ off listening to Morrisey with guy liner running down his cheeks.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
Have gotten texts from many friends and family saying to the effect of 'I love this team already,' 'Most fun to watch in years,' etc. What a difference a change of guard can make (PUN VERY MUCH SO INTENDED, HAVE FUN GUYS).
I've gushed about Johnny Davis quite a bit the past several days - and probably beyond - so big shout-out today for Tyler Wahl. We don't win this game without him. The offensive performance of his career to date, easily, and he made a couple buckets you just know he wouldn't have previously. Good on him putting in the work on his weaknesses. He's obviously not an 18ppg player, but being able to more consistently put up 8-10 and have nights like today will go a long way.
Johnny Davis was named Maui MOP. Obviously.
What a fun week. Incredibly refreshing.

My favorite player from the previous big wave of players is still with us.. the rest left.
Davison is the only one of them i'd have wanted back anyways.

Re: Wisconsin Badgers Thread
I have heard some stuff, but a lot of it is on the players too, especially the senior 21-22 year old types, who played in to Tuck’s ****. Last year’s team clearly had issues. I’m glad it’s been excised.

The players have a lot to do with that, as well. They are adults.

Or are you talking salesman? Somewhere else?
