This tweet is interesting because Primo is not actually listed on Austin's official Training Camp roster.

I wonder if Primo will be with the Austin Spurs for the G-League Showcase Cup Nov. 5 - Dec. 22 and then go back to the Spurs. We'll see.

And this is why it's good to sign and have not only back ups to back ups, but also players who are put in and have experience in various roles:

Absolutely disappointed in Jakob. Vaccinated doesn't mean you don't still take precautions. And yes I understand I don't have all the details and it could have been someone else around him who wasn't careful and he was just trusting. Whatever. Shouldn't have happened.

Love it. And I agree with Raul. If Zach stays healthy, he's a two-way, floor-stretching big with some attitude and **** you sandpaper to him that this team sorely needs an infusion of. Can't wait to see him play!

Some wondered why Jock wasn't getting more minutes (Covid, concussion), others wondered why he hadn't been sent down to Austin earlier. Now both groups can rejoice!

As I said in the Austin Spurs thread, good reps for him, good conditioning, and with December 15th just around the corner, I think the timing is nothing if not... well timed.

So I guess for now this pretty much spells the end of Thad to the Suns, right?

Another hardship signing:
Read on Twitter

Though the undrafted 23-year-old spent most of his first go-round suiting up for the Canton Charge and Rio Grande Valley Vipers, he would go on to win the G League Most Improved Player Award.

The former University of Vermont Catamount hasn’t had much success in the league. But he has nailed an extraordinary 41.5% of his 7.2 three-point attempts per game for the Valley Vipers this season.

The Spurs reportedly signed Tyler Johnson to a ten-day contract earlier today and called up Jaylen Morris from their Austin affiliate nearly a week ago. All three replacements could see minutes against Philly on Friday.

This is amazing news for Zach and us! It means he's done the 3-on-3, 4-on-4, and 5-on-5 work and just needs some conditioning reps!

Thanks, gents! If it weren't for NBA teams being able to sign these players, many more games would have to be rescheduled:

Promising!

Hopefully once Zach (and perhaps Juancho in spot minutes) are contributing we can get something decent for Thad without it affecting cap space for next season.

Some smart pick stocking and cost saving moves accrued. Also, his expiring contract will be helpful in itself for us.

He actually helped getting the W in a close game. May as well have gotten something out of him before we handed him over to the team we just defeated lmao
