For as deep as the Dubs are, they don't have a stretch big on the roster that I know of.

Something based around Wade/Windler for Kuminga? A stretch 3 and 4 that are cheap and more helpful to them the next couple of years for Curry's prime? It would have to be that. Improvement the next two years over the ceiling of Kuminga's 2nd and 3rd contract.

I have the value way off here. Kuminga is a recent high pick, just 19yo and has shown enough promise. Those 2 Cavs-guys don't bring anything to the table for me that would make me want to send out any significant assets in a trade. Both are 25yo and haven't done much yet. I believe that you can find these players for the minimum, every year. GSW signed two of them this summer in Porter and Iguodala and both are imho better.

So realistically those players don't even crack the rotation outside of garbage time.

Curry
Thompson
Poole
Wiggins
Green
Looney
Wiseman
Porter
Iguodala
Bjelica
GP2

Those are already 11 players (not counting the rookies). Based on quality and role, where are they taking minutes? JTA is also arguable...

That is awfully tempting.

Really? No one? Not even Steph? I get Mobley is a stud and young, and outside of Steph, no one on the Dubs is worth him, I just thought it was funny that you said “no one”. But anyway Happy Turkeyday in advance.

I'm convinced we're going to be happy with our trio so no skin off my ass.

Maybe I’m too high on CLE but this looks like Kuminga for a late lotto if not 15-20 1st plus 3 worthless pieces.

Cleveland looks really nice at full strength and the East remains terrible. Very well could be in playoff competition.

Cedi is a fine player but no better than Wiggins/Iguodala/Lee. 2x 2nds? For a team that has a 10 player rotation before Klay, Kuminga, wiseman or Moody? And GSW has their own 1st next year? These are literally 3 worthless pieces.

So yeah. Late lotto/non lotto for Kuminga?

That’s a joke.

Not to mention JTA is not a throw in player to GSW.

Cedi looks really good this year. Cedi would certainly be a rotation player on GS and I think he would really help that team. Cedi and a mid-1st with it possibly being top-10 for Kuminga seems about right in terms of value.

The pick is obviously the main value here for Kuminga, but I don’t see much upside play for GS with the current protections on it. Cedi just isn’t enough of an upgrade on JTA (if at all, though he can certainly fill the shooter role better). Add on salary concerns.

With an Unprotected pick it’d be risky both ways. As is GS is the only one taking real risk if it winds up #12 or whatever.

C’mon man. No one is giving up the recent #7 overall pick for a couple end of the rotation guys. I don’t think GS would even offer Windler a contract if he were a FA.

I mean that’s fine but I’m pretty sure if you asked all 28 other teams whether they would rather have Mobley or Moody, Kuminga, and Wiseman, not one would pick the latter. This is a quality over quantity league.

Oh yeah, Mobley is way more valuable, maybe a chance before we’d seen him play in the league. No chance now.

Hefty price for a 13th or 14th man on the roster.
