If Wall gets bought out I would be all over that. We have plenty of guards but he would be the best one by a mile

I agree with Ainge on one thing: I'd trade my mother in the right deal. So I don't view ANYONE as untouchable, including Jaylen Brown.

Good thing Ainge isn't with the Celts anymore.

Brad is not like Ainge, so the nobody is untouchable part doesn't apply to Brad.

Nah. I'm not making any trades unless they show that can't contend as presently constituted. If they show that they cannot, I'm making a big deal, not trading two 12th men for two other 12th men.

Jaylen Brown and Dennis Schroder for Harrison Barnes, Tyrese Halliburtion and Davion Mitchell.

What would it cost to get Sabonis? There’s no deal without Jaylen right? Do you guys think he’s worth whatever else and multiple picks and swaps.maybe something similar but less for Brogdon?

Jaylen's my favorite player since Pierce, but I've advocated considering a JB-for-Sabonis swap as one of the few 'roster balancing' moves out there for us. But I liked it more when we had another perimeter scorer like Hayward or even Kemba on the roster. That said, IND continues to underwhelm, and this year I'm all in on seeing what JB and JT can do given a full season as the alpha dogs, so I guess I'm glad we haven't done it yet.

I'm fine with Brown for Sabonis, who is Jokic lite. But (once again) I'm not making any moves until this team shows me it is on the treadmill. We should have a better idea by January 15.

I'm not adverse to moving Tatum either, although lately he's shown more willingness to pass the ball instead of diddling for 5 seconds and taking a difficult shot that he could have taken right away.

Tatum has made a clear effort to hold and dribble the ball less this year, his possessions of 6+ Seconds are down 6% from last year, possessions of 2-6 seconds are down 2% from last year.

That’s a pretty big adjustment, you could see him rushing shots early in the season to avoid bogging down the offense. But over the last 7-9 games, looks infinitely more comfortable with the system.

Pritchard to Utah. They play their white guys there. It's actually a need for them as well. Nothing in return. I just want him to go where he's appreciated and wanted. Nesmith to to SAC for Bagley. No point letting him waste away on the bench. He might get run there if they deal Hield. Bagley would be some size off the bench. Ime would laughably still play Grant WIlliams over him but at least Nesmith could go somewhere he might play.

I like jonas, but that starting lineup looks slow and still bad at shooting.

Coby white should be the pg. a really good shooting 2 guard in place of smart would be ideal. Smart as 6th man.

Sign me up for a bit of Wood. I'd take Theis back as well.

Theis for Juancho and 2nds. Rounds out the front court rotation, good locker room guy (seems like we'll need plenty of that), insurance for Horford/Timelord. Only problem is that we don't duck the tax this year and it's more likely that's the goal at the deadline than getting marginally better.

Wood/Timelord would be a really impressive frontcourt. Richardson and a first for Wood with JRich being flipped to a third team since I doubt Houston are interested. We'd have such good length up front. My only concern is that Wood can't keep up with stretching the floor and we continue to die by the three.

Houston feel like the perfect team to hunt for upgrades on though. Wood, Theis, House could all be on the outs. Would all be good additions for the right price.

If the next 20 games or so result in .500 basketball I'm dumping both Tatum and Brown and starting over.
