I think LeBron was best during those Heat/Cavs years ... but Lonzo is above that imo ... is that just bias? Jason Kidd was pretty spectacular in his heyday if I remember correct ... but that was probably 10 or so years ago (Nets years).
Edit ... Kevin Love was spectacular, but it was a totally different full court pass, one handed quarterback style (still amazing). Lonzo does it with tow hand chest pass.
You're not to far off. Def glad we have him at the price we do!

I mean, Jokic and Lebron can make that pass blind folded, but yeah - it’s a special club.

Starting to get impatient with Coby. We have a tough stretch of games coming up and his shooting will be sorely needed.

Why can't this team just blow out bad teams like they are supposed to? It shouldn't be this hard.

Because they aren’t sweating it honestly. Maybe they should I won’t argue that but seems like they are trying to save some gas in the tank at this point. It’s a strategy, not sure it’s a good one.

Man a few games I watched Houston play, they looked TERRIBLE - no defense, offense sucked donkey balls etc.
Today, they seem like a totally new team out there. Playing defense, running, gunning, playing smart. Normally they are top one of the worst in the league in protecting balls, today, they seem like a playoff team out there.

I think I’ve just realized this is the NBA. Before Indiana, the Bulls had around the 5th best net rating in the league. So if they aren’t blowing teams out, no one is, right?
Washington is down by 16 right now to the 3-16 Pelicans, so it could be worse.

The games I watched, Porter looked like Coby running the offense. Very wild, missing open guys, turning it over and over etc and bricking shots.
Today, he looks like an all-star.

Here is my problem, we played with a chip on our shoulder, and now we are playing like we are a good team. Opening a season like one doesn’t mean we are. We have to kill this whole season. Don’t believe the hype as flava flav said.

They seem to play down to competition. As long as they play hard against the top half of the league I’m not too concerned about them coasting against Houston.

Re: Bulls @ Rockets 7pm
Wow. Ball is a tremendous steal of a signing. I was listening to Simmons podcast and guy on there was talking about Luka and building around him.
First thing I thought was if I was building around him, Lonzo would be the guard I want next to him (cover his d, 3P shooting, ability to push in transition where Luka otherwise handles the half court).
Second thought was ... Who the tf wouldn't want Lonzo in the starting lineup??? He's a bit of a unhicorn of point guards ... basically any team with a star scoring guard (PG or SG) would absolutely want Lonzo next to him because of that ... he excels leading transition but doesn't really want half court ball control responsibility; he destroys people on defense and will put all his energy in it; he covers anyone's defensive liabilities; he takes and makes A LOT of spot up 3s

Ha just like selectively watching Coby. Porter at least looks like he is a dog though.
